My kitties never liked Greenies before but I saw these are catnip flavor so thought I’d give them a try. Success! They all 3 love these and they disappear quickly! Quality seems good, the size seems smaller than before which is great, they can chew them easily and I’m confident it will help their teeth.

VOHC (website on which veterinarians test products to see if they perform as advertised) recommended this as something that does actually work. My kitty approves of all the flavors available, though I usually get the catnip flavor. Started giving her this after she went in for a dental cleaning and had to have one of her fangs/canines removed last year. So far, her teeth have remained in good shape, and no "smelly mouth". She gets 6 pieces twice a day, and comes running for it when I say that it's time for her 'toothpaste'! Love the value size, which lasts about a month.

Brushing our cats' teeth is just not going to happen, but they have tartar so we needed to do something. Had a recent checkup at the vet and was told whatever we're doing is working and to keep it up. They love all the flavors.

It wasn't until we had a dog that our cats suddenly demand daily/nightly treats. We give them half healthy treats & half greenies. They don't eat the healthy ones unless they also get greenies, so it must taste great! & I don't mind, they don't stink like many others. They love chewing the thick treat, never causes digestive issues. One of the skinny cats even has an increased appetite for regular food, as a result. I like to keep them in a cannister to keep extra fresh. Another advantage to Greenies is that container! I have them all over the house, in the cupboard, in the pantry, on the shelf, even on the table. Now, I can see my tea selection, my chocolate stock, granola bars and more. Seriously, I never have to wonder anymore where are my sunglasses, or readers, pens, paintbrushes, hand sanitizer, you name it... and because it's clear, if I see an empty container... I know I need to go collect whatever I left out and replace it.

There’s no doubt that my two fatties find these dental treats to be delicious. I bought the catnip flavor. They go crazy when I open the container. In fact, I have to keep the container in the fridge or they will claw at the kitchen cabinets if they know the treats are in there. My cats are on a raw diet. These treats really are junk food for cats, but I got them because my vet said both of my kitties had tartar buildup. They turned 7 this year. She said dental treats help her cats and prevent tartar buildup and plaque. So, since I couldn’t find healthy dental treats, I chose these as they are the most popular and the reviews are pretty good. This is why I knocked off one star: my male cat swallows them whole, which defeats the purpose. He might chew one out of 8. Worst of all, the pieces don’t get digested and he has a lot of trouble pooping them out. It was painful for him, and he was pooping outside of the cat litter box. He never did this before. I tried cutting them in half and it didn’t help at all. They shouldn’t make the pieces so hard that they are not dissolving or getting digested in the cat’s body. His sister has no trouble at all because she chews them. As soon as I stopped giving him the treats, his poop normalized. Unfortunately, the treats don’t work for him. I’ll keep giving my little female the treats as long as they don’t have any negative effect on her or her blood work. I wish there were dental treats out there with healthy, quality ingredients, that aren’t as hard as rocks. I’ll keep searching…
