I was hesitant to buy these at first because of all the bad reviews saying it won't fit a Ria 1911. Well they fit mine no problem and they look awesome. 5 stars great product good price

Excellent quality grip with great checkering.

Great fit and good checkering, the color is also a nice red/brown.

Fit and finish is perfect. Checkering is sharp and provides a good grip. Will need short bushings. If you are looking for thin rose wood grips, these are the ones. Fits perfect on a full size Colt or clone. The only thing to consider is the screws. They do look great but require a torx head wrench to get on and off. The wrench is provided, be sure to keep up with it. The screws that came with my grips were black, not the gold looking ones in the picture.

Nice real wood grips. Classic checkering looks great on my A1 Government Model. Out of the package both grips were slightly warped, which concerned me at first but they laid down just fine when I screwed them on. I assume with being as thin as they are and natural wood a little ocasional warpage can be expected. The included screws are okay but the style doesn't quite match the design of the grips, in my opinion, but of course you don't have to use them. However, you will need to change out your standard grip screw bushings for short ones with any thin grips, and if you don't use the included screws you will also need to use short grip screws.

Looks great and feels great. Easy installation if you have the short bushings for it.
