Quality tire for the price point
I put these tires on my Lund Tyee 16.5’ boat trailer last season and I’ve done multiple 300 mile and 500 mile trips on them last season. Have zero complaints about them at all. My boat probably weighs about 2000 lbs loaded at heaviest, so I run the tires at about 50 psi just to give the boat a little smoother ride. Checked them this spring and they’re both wearing perfectly. For the price point, they’ve been a good tire.

Great Tires and Cost Effective Upgrade
I wanted to solve two things with my new PWC trailer. First I needed a spare tire, and second I wanted to upgrade the rims on the trailer. These tires were an upgrade from my OEM trailer tires in that those were load range C and these are load range D and 8 ply. That is a clear win in my book for starters. Then I found a super sharp set of rims for these tires and had those rims mounted on these tires and I could not be happier. These tires track great, are very well constructed, appear durable, and are well above what I need spec-wise for my application. The two new OEM rims and tires I took off are now great spares with one mounted on the trailer. I was able to do this for a third of what load range D tires and the same rims would have cost from my trailer manufacturer and have two spares to boot.

Free Country ST175/80/R13 D 8ply. The tires are code dated (2822) making them about 9 months old. $120 total, for a pair of two tires. They look & feel good. They are now mounted on a boat trailer with a 17ft deep V boat & 90hp motor & fishing gear. About 2200lbs. Total. So there is some weight there. I have yet to try them, but am about to put a 2000 mile trip on them from the hot south to the cold north..... After the trip, I will update the review, & opinion of these tires. Update.. Just did my road trip home. After 2000 miles, The tires worked perfectly with no problems. I drove at interstate highway speed all the way, in temp from 94° to 24° even in some snow, with no sway at all & the tires, & tread still looks new. I'm very happy with them and would buy again..
