Leather Refinish Color Restorer Dye

Buying these products is never a sure thing but for once it turned out to be the right move. I have a leather reclining love seat in dark brown. It was showing wear spots and was looking pretty bad. What could it hurt to try some of this product. I didn’t take any before and after pictures as I should have but I now have a brand new looking piece of furniture. Unbelievable! It turned out beautifully. Absolutely nothing bad about the job this product did. It doesn’t rub off either. Love it!

The color was perfect. Painted my leather recliner and it looks brand new!

There should be a smaller container to pick from. This will go a long way when using. The color was a little off for my purpose. My Lazy Boy leather recliner states it is Mahogany so I ordered the Mahogany container which was a little bit redder in color so I had to do a bit of blending over the whole surface of the chair. I wish the product came in a small tube so you could order various colors to blend together to get the color you need. Don't want to end up with lots of jars of these for the cost and for having so much extra dye you can't use.

I've used this on my leather chair over the years. One container lasts a very long time, and it works beautifully. The chair looks as good as the day we purchased it.

The color did not match our chair so ended up covering the entire piece. Had significant cracks in the leather in several areas. The stain did not completely cover them but the appearance is much better (3 coats). Have to be careful to blend the stain evenly over large areas. Using rubber gloves helps a lot.

I have a beautiful leather purse that I use daily and it needed to be refinished. I saw this product on Amazon and I ordered the original leather refinisher as well as the 2oz bottle of their Cleaner and Conditioner. . This morning, I cleaned my purse following the directions on their bottle. The cleaner and conditioner bottle held 2 ounces and because I was only doing a purse I mixed 1 ounce of the product with 6 ounces of water, in a spray bottle. The next time I refinish a purse I would only use 1/2 ounce of the conditioner cleaner with 3 Ounces of water. I let the purse dry for several hours and when it was completely dry, I refinished my purse. I found that a sponge like paint brush worked the best for getting into all the nooks and crevices in my purse. True to their claims, any dye that I got on the metal of on my purse cleaned off immediately with just a little bit of water, so there is no need to have to tape the metal off. A little of the product goes a long way. I only used about 1/5 of the dye. I am so impressed with how well this product worked and how beautiful my purse looks. It looks as good as the day that I bought it, if not better. When the product dries, there’s a beautiful shine to the color. I will definitely be buying more of this product for any leather refinishing job that I need to do. By the way, the dye dries within 5 to 10 minutes at the most. I finished one side of my purse at a time and let it dry for about 15 minutes then I was able to flip it over and finish the other side. In total, it took me less than 45 minutes to completely refinish my purse. Don’t hesitate to buy this product, it is as good as the company guarantees.

Literally was ready to throw away this dog damaged stained leather sofa. This $20 product fully revived it. I only used one pot of the product on the whole thing (cushions don’t come off, so fronts only) and did a couple thin layers on the seats. So far it looks and feels great. I used dark brown on this sofa and the match is perfect. Highly recommend! I applied it with a cheap microfiber cloth and wore plastic gloves.

I was trying to get 1 more year out of a leather sofa in our ski condo rental. Looking back on it, we should have been moisturizing and treating the leather every year, but we did not. The leather has gotten really worn in a couple of places and the leather is cracking. I DID NOT expect this product to fix the cracking, but I was hoping to mask the bare spots. I choose RED, but probably should have gone with AUTUMN RED. I knew the sofa was not "wine" color. The colors did not match, but ultimately it did not make a difference, as I just worked the color in, blending where I could. (The sofa looks different colors in different lights, as it is not as orange as in the first pic.) This dye made the sofa look 100% better, and it will give me that extra year of use. I applied the dye and let it dry 24 hours. Then used a leather moisturizer on the entire sofa (I did get some dye coming off on my rag, but not much) After I finished, I sprayed the whole sofa with ScotchGuard protectant (hoping to seal in the dye.) We sat on the sofa while were were there, before and after all the stages, and no dye came off on our clothes once the dye had dried. I do not know what would happen if someone sat on the sofa very wet or covered in snow. If I get any complaints, I will update. This product definitely did the job I wanted it to do. It won't "restore" but it will bring back your color.
