One Towel Did the Whole Car – Highly Recommend
I’ve used a lot of drying towels over the years, and this one stands out. I bought it for drying my 2025 Mustang after washes. Performance: The absorbency is excellent. It easily handled drying the entire car with a single towel, which says a lot about how much water it can hold. It glides smoothly over the paint, doesn’t leave streaks or lint, and feels safe to use without any concern for scratching. Feel/Quality: The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from a premium microfiber towel—thick, soft, and well made. Limitation: The only thing I’d change is the size. It works great, but I do wish I had gone with the larger option to make drying faster and reduce the number of passes. I ended up returning this size and going with the 30x36 instead. Conclusion: Overall, this is a high-quality drying towel that performs exactly as advertised. I’d recommend it, just go with the larger size from the start.

Good Product
I've used old bath towels or chamois type material for many years. My son had a couple of these microfiber towels in his washing kit and let me try them out. I used them a couple of times and then bought my own! These towels absorb more water than anything I have ever used. Drying the vehicle is much faster as a result, and microfiber is easier on the car's finish. Good product. Works as promised.

Worth it!
Was able to fully dry my Tacoma with just one 15x24 towel, no residual wet spots! Great quality and efficiency, worth the price!

Fantastic Microfiber Drying Towel
This review is for the 30" x 36" The Gauntlet Microfiber Drying Towel from The Rag Company. I've been using microfiber for years of various qualities and grades, and I have amassed a garage full of car care products over the years. I was looking for the absolute best drying towel that I could find for my car. I wanted something that was plush, extremely absorbent, and had some weight to it so that I could drag it over non-flat surfaces to absorb the water. I also of course wanted something that wasn't going to leave streaks of water behind. I did a lot of searching and going through many reviews. The absolute best drying towel I found was The Gauntlet. It does the job flawlessly. I am able to drag the towel across the car and absorb all the water without leaving streaks in just a single pass. I had no problem drying my car with just this single 30" x 36" towel. The plushness made it easy to dry vents, slats, and wipe down edges. I also very much like that each side is a different color. It is a nice convenient feature as you can keep track of which side you have been using so far. The towel felt like it weight about 5 lbs after I was done drying my car. This towel could have absorbed more water, as no matter how hard I squeezed or tried to ring it out not a single drop of water came out. I have seen multiple review where people were able to dry their entire car with just one of the smaller 20" x 30" sizes, and I fully believe it. I recommend consider the size and weight after it absorbs water, and go with the size you prefer. Pretty much all microfiber will work better after the first wash or two. This is so that any potential loose dyes come out, removes any potential residue/contaminants from manufacturing/shipping, and also opens up the microfibers. This will increase its cleaning and absorbency and reduce the potential for any dye transfer. Always be sure to wash microfiber only with other microfiber and to follow all directions. Microfiber gets ruined if you use fabric softener or if you dry it with heat that it can't withstand.

Good for one small or mid size sedan.
Overall I am satisfied, but i was expecting more drying capacity. It can dry up to one medium size sedan (ford fusion). I still needed a smaller secondary dry towel to clean the water strips. Good quality and material. Will buy again.

Best Drying Towel I’ve Ever Used — Nothing Comes Close
I use The Rag Company Gauntlet drying towel on my 2025 GMC Sierra AT4, which has full ceramic coating and partial PPF — and this towel has become an essential part of my wash routine. I’ve tried others, but nothing matches the water absorption, softness, and streak-free performance of the Gauntlet. It soaks up water effortlessly without dragging, scratching, or leaving behind lint. One 20”x30” towel is usually enough to dry the entire truck, especially when paired with good hydrophobic behavior from coatings or products like GYEON WetCoat. It also holds up extremely well over time — even after multiple washes with P&S Rags to Riches, it still performs like new. If you care about your paint and want the best drying towel on the market, don’t overthink it — just get this one.

The Best Drying Towel
These drying towels are some of the best I have used for detailing my truck. The fibers are very soft and extremely absorbent, I am always amazed how well they continue to dry my truck even with heavy use. Compared to other towels I have used, I have come to appreciate the different colors on each side which makes it very easy to keep track of which side has already been used while working around the truck and refolding. I use two of these every time I dry my truck but I would think that just one of them will easily dry an average sized care with no issue. Working on vehicle paint is a place where skimping out on towels can cause more work or worse cause scratching on the paint but these are great quality and holding up like new after many washes.

Fantastic Drying Towel
This has been a game changer. It dries so effectively. It has made my car washing routine a bit easier. I still have smaller microfibers for my tires and such, but this one does the bulk of the car.

Perfektes Autohandtuch

Very thirsty towel, will dry several cars easily and quickly.
Amazing drying towel. Could easily do 2 vehicles with one use. Absorbs all water with a quick pass, very effective and soft so no worries about damaging paintwork. I would be careful with washing this product or using to dry off product as it may clog up the towel and reduce its absorption over time. I wash with fragrance free washing machine tablets at low heat and spins and leave out to dry in the sun to ensure absorption remains intact.
