There was a time when you had a vehicle and purchased one of these books you would know how to fix pretty much anything on the vehicle. Now with all the engine and tranission options and the different models these books are a good read for just general knowledge on your car; it shows fluid capacity and maintence info it's just very broad, you can find most the most specific information to your vehicle in the owners manual.

Since my truck likes to break more than it runs, I’ve learned a ton just by doing... but had a lot of frustrations along the way. Wish I had gotten this book sooner. Could have avoided a lot of frustration. I literally read it like a standard book anytime I can, just to learn. Bought these guides for every vehicle in my driveway. I’ve got a lot of learning to do.
