The cold can get brutal, especially early in the morning, but these gloves keep my hands warm without feeling bulky or stiff. I can still grip the leash comfortably and move my fingers easily, which isn’t always the case with winter gloves. One of my favorite features is the touchscreen capability. I’m constantly checking my phone at the dog park — answering texts, changing music, or taking pictures of my dog — and it’s so nice not having to take the gloves off every time. Like some of my impulse purchases, this one was borne of both need and frustration! It was a cold winter afternoon and I was dressed for the outdoor adventure in which I found myself engaged -- or so I thought. An incessant ringing from my phone buried deep in my coat pocket disturbed my enjoyment of the falling snow and when I finally managed to dig the annoying device out of the nether regions of an Arctic parka, I found that I was unable to command the errant device to answer. I fumbled and fumbled in a futile attempt to answer the incoming call from my mom! I failed. So, I tried to call her back, only to find that I couldn't dial while gloved either! I'll not attempt to convey my sense of helplessness nor my growing frustration with the glove and phone situation in a polite public forum, so let's just say that I couldn't use the @#$%! phone! When you live at the top of the Continental Divide, you aren't a stranger to winter weather conditions where temperatures fall to places well below zero...and then there is the wind (locals refer to it as, "that which shall not be named" for fear that it'll blow harder if we dare acknowledge its presence), and up here, it never stops (it's occasionally calm but not often). Sub zero temperatures, gusting wind, and micro-projectiles of decomposing granite combined with what feels like freeze-dried snow should never meet with human skin. It does...Exposing any part of your body to this onslaught isn't pleasant, but it's worse when you do it to yourself. My brain told me the need to unglove myself in these conditions was preposterous, but I knew if I wanted the touchscreen to realize it was being touched, I had no choice! I hate NOT having choices! There you have it, It was this very experience that took me down the path of finding a new pair of gloves -- quickly. I was interested in not only protection from our extreme elements but I wanted something less bulky than my ski gloves or worse, mittens. I also recognized that a large part of my frustration with winter handwear was that most of it is not technology friendly (in my case, friendly means that I can operate most touch screen devices without the need to remove my gloves - whether it be to interface with my SUVs command system or a piece of communication / compute gear). The glove removal thing in winter wasn't an option I was willing to entertain further. As I investigated the plethora of options available on Amazon, I kept coming back to the TRENDOUX products. They were something made for the technophile in us all and without delay, I placed an order. The day the package arrived, I tore into the box and excitedly pulled on my purchase. The fit was snug (dare I say, "like a glove"), the look was fashionable, the fabric surprisingly lightweight, and the coup de grace was "technology compatibility"...not just friendliness, but REAL compatibility! I felt as though I had arrived! These glove are great products designed for the mobile era and active individual. Smart phone + Fan of Outdoor Winter Activities?? You need these gloves! At least one pair, maybe two. I only wish that I had found these long before I did!

Great little gloves! I'm knocking a star off because the screen sensitive thumb, index and middle fingers are not as responsive on my cell phone screen as I would expect, although it does work if I press hard enough. But otherwise, these are very soft. The knit is tight and well constructed, no snags or loose threads. I also love the triangular, rubberized texture in the palms to keep things from slipping out of your grasp. The wrist cuffs are wide, thick and tight enough to keep cold air out and the gloves in place. The color is a nice dense, intense black and they just look high quality, like they're going to hold up for a good long time. Also, if necessary, you can probably layer them under puffier mittens or gloves for extra warmth.

My Experience: I bought these looking for something that wasn't too bulky, and I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing you notice is how incredibly soft they feel on the inside; the lining has a premium touch that keeps your hands warm instantly. Touchscreen Functionality: This was my main concern, and they work perfectly. I’ve tried other "touchscreen" gloves that fail constantly, but with these, I can text and scroll without any issues. The grip on the palm also ensures the phone doesn't slip out of my hand. Warmth and Comfort: They are very stretchy and fit snugly without feeling tight. They are ideal for city walks or driving on cold mornings. The dense knit does a great job of trapping heat.

These are definitely value gloves, and it shows. They are not at all waterproof, and not windproof - fairly thin woven material, warm but not suitable for windy or sub-zero weather. The material is not very sturdy or solid, with finger fabric starting to unravel a bit after a few weeks of wear. They look great and feel very soft though. My biggest complaint, however, is that they are have "flat" thumbs - meaning thumbs are woven in line with the other fingers, but our thumbs, of course, are not in a line. So,they pull near where the thumbs are, becoming uncomfortable after only a few minutes, kind of like those gloves for small kids that are priced for being lost after a couple of days. So if price is most important for you, then get these - otherwise, get some better made gloves.

I bought dollarama gloves last year as temporary gloves. By this winter they were ripped in a few spots and I gotten some paint over them as well. Also, during last winter they did not keep my hands that warm so I decided it was a good time to buy new gloves. I never liked bulky gloves and would want to avoid them if I could. I am not on my phone too often but thought it would be nice to have gloves that could work on your phone as well. I looked around on here and found this. I took a chance and ended up buying it. They arrived quickly and just came with a plastic wrap. I opened it up and got my gloves. They material felt light but a bit thick at the same time. I put them on and they were a bit tight in the fingers but they have since gotten much better. They have a nice grip pattern on the exterior side of the palms. I actually went to the post office to get these. After I got back in my car I took off my old gloves and put these on. I immediately noticed how warm these were. They are a snug fit as well. I would recommend using their measurement picture to measure your hands to figure out which size would be best for you. I bought the large and it does fit but it is quite snug as well. I have used my phone while my gloves are on and I can use the touchscreen just fine. I can even do some fine movements as well. I ordered the black gloves and they look pretty slick. The price is reasonable for a pair of gloves. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I do not have any complaints. If anything happens I will update this review. The price was good as well and I am pretty sure these will last me for years to come.
