They Fit - Better Quality than Original
These pads are designed to go over the plastic base of the original pads. So, be careful not to throw that piece away. Get the old pads off by pulling firmly - I worked my fingernails under the old pads to remove. You extract the plastic piece from the old pads (there is a little glue to overcome, but no real problem). The plastic piece has little clips that attach to the headphones. You stretch the fabric edges of the earpads over this plastic piece, with the clips pointing out, and then snap it back on to the headphones. Now, this sounds easier than it actually is. You have to patiently line up the clips, and don't force anything. You may have to slightly pull the fabric back with your fingernails to expose the clips as you go. A bright light helps. The whole process took me about 15 to 20 minutes, but it is doable. Happy with the result which feels great in use. They are a bit firmer than the original equipment pads, which is actually good in my opinion. See the image with the pads newly installed. Highly recommended for all who want to keep their prized Oppo PM3's in use. There are no instructions that come with the pads, so I hope my review will be helpful. Edit: A bright light really helps in lining up the clips that connect the pads. I didn't mention that the thin cloth liner, that covers the drivers is new, and seems to be a good match for the original & helps to make the headphone look like new after the ear pad replacement. I detected no change in the pure highs that the Oppos are known for.

Guitar pick and twist
This is great. My oppo pm3s synthetic leather has not aged well. I recently noticed cracking, peeling, and flaking. I love these damn headphones and now the ear pads are like new. The headband is still aging and will need to be replaced or modified soon but the ear pads are good! These were very easy to install. I have included detailed pictures. All you really need is a thicker guitar pick. Insert and twist! There are a number of tabs so you have to go around the ear piece and perform this function all the way around. Once you detach the old pad you remove the plastic frame. The old pad has a small amount of glue. You can easily pull the pad off as the glue isn't too tough. When installing the new pad I simply tucked the excess material around the ridge rather then using glue. I don't think glue is needed in all honesty. The seal is tight. The most difficult part of this process was clipping the new ear pad back in. Make sure the fabric line is on the bottom and be patient. Once you get one clip in the others are easy. Also it helps to retain the orientation of plastic frame. I hope these hold up better then the og pads. I don't notice any sound difference or change in comfort. The new pads may be slightly thicker. If so it is only barely noticeable and doesn't negatively impact my comfort.

Great Replacement for Oppo PM3 White/Blue Ear Pads
Actually works great. Read the previous reviews for instructions - very helpful - then just start. Took me maybe 30 minutes total. As noted before, removal of the old earpiece is easy, most time consuming is snapping the frame with the new earpiece back in place. I did one side first, then pulled on the frame to get it to connect to the other side, then go around for the others - you know you got it when you hear the loud snap. Before I mounted the pads, I wrote in blue permanent marker (to match the frame) a small L and R on the inside fabric of the pads - much easier to see than the stamped letters on the frame, and invisible unless you look inside the earpiece. Bottom line is my amazing Oppo PM3s are 100% good to go another few years.

Best replacement!
I was getting very discouraged, because after near constant use of my headphones for over a year, the earpads were literally falling apart. The cost to get them replaced by the manufacturer was just too much for me at the time, and then I found these! They were extremely easy to replace, they are just as good as the originals, and they are extremely comfortable to wear. They are going to definitely become my go-to for replacements, and I hope they will help me use my headphones for years and years to come.

Supple leather! Installed easy!!
Great quality genuine leather. Amazing for the price. Installation is much easier than I thought. Don't be intimidated. Make sure to use a guitar pick (thick one) or a credit card to pry the plastic earpad base from the headphones. Position the earpad, and pull and tuck the leather evenly behind the 6 tabs before snapping the base back into position. It took me 5-10 minutes right before hitting the pillow when I was half asleep :)

Worth the Struggle!!
I used these to replace the deteriorated ear pads of my beloved Oppo PM3s. Removing the old pads was a pain and installing the new pads was a struggle, but once in place, Nirvana! My advice is to be patient, methodical, and donโt force anything. BTW, the new pads had no negative effects on the sound quality of my Oppos.

Comfortable and probably durable
I bought one pair for my Oppo phones made out of synthetic leather and bought these for when the first pair wear out. My experience is that the actual drivers last practically forever but ear cushionsโnot so much. I have my old Sennheisers from the 70โs. They still sound good.Ohโitโs a slight challenge to stretch these over the frame and get the frame to snap back in. It took me about 15 minutes.

Great fit....
I'm surprised on how well they fit, I should order another pair before they are all sold out. Easy to install, there're are grooves behind the clips where the old ear pads were , just push the edge behind the clips. That will also allow the clips to reconnect to the base. Great replacement pads on some very expensive headphones, thanks Amazon.

Good but very tricky to fit
No instructions on how to remove the old and fit the new. Took me ages to work it out. Ultimately ok but why no instructions

Very good replacement
I chose the sheepskin leather which is the more expensive one and the fit is quite good. Replacement took about 5 to 10 minutes.Comfortable on the ears if a bit on the fluffy side.Sound is with better isolation compared to the old ones.Hopefully they will last longer and they will not start shred as quick to the original.Wish there was a replacement for the headband leather of the pm-3

Not worth the sacrifice
I'll start by saying that these cost me $42AUD which is nearly half the price of the first party replacements that are still available through Oppo Digital ($79), so I decided to take a risk on the back of the overwhelmingly positive reviews.Installing the replacement pads is a real struggle, there are no instructions and it is extremely finicky -thankfully Simon's Amazon review provides in-depth instructions.Very important to note is that installation requires that you sacrifice your originals pads to cannibalise the plastic ring - this is a real issue should you not like these replacements. I would have much preferred to pay a few more dollars for the convenience and ability to retain the originals.Build quality is average and it is apparent on first inspection where the saving went. Stitching is inconsistent and they feel pretty average to the touch around the edges and stitching, which I found especially noticeable when removing. The leather coverage is a bit asymmetrical but would not be obvious at a glance. The ear opening is marginally smaller than the original and is slightly less comfortable for me. The foam is rather comfortable and I didn't notice a change in apparent clamping pressure. Similarly to Randy's review I found these replacements noticeably changed the sound profile - I found the mids and bass sounded muddied. Unfortunately there is no going back thanks to sacrificing the originals. In conclusion I simply cannot recommend these as long as first party replacements are still available. While the originals may be nearly double the price, they lasted nearly 5 years. When you consider that we are talking audiophile grade headphones, the rather small saving simply isn't worth it.

Pretty Impressed! Fit great!
I was extremely skeptical about these headphone replacement earpad covers but DAMMIT if they don't fir perfectly. My headphones look new again. Getting them on was a bit fussy but it took maybe 5 minutes and voila new headphones. They are pretty comfortable too. Not quite as soft as the originals but maybe over time they will be.Picture shows the new compared with the old. Great deal on a replacement.

Fit perfectly, look nice as a contrasted, two tone set of cans
I own the PM3s and am willing to confirm they do indeed fit and the replacement process is very simple. Remove the existing earpads and plastic frame from the headphones by gently prying them apart. Remove the existing pads from the frame by peeling them off of the frame. Work the new earpads over the plastic frame, it can be a little finicky but not impossibly so. Replace the frame and new pads by firmly snapping the frame back into place. The only way this process could be complicated for you is if you have as many brain cells as you do hands.
