1-Pack Review: My family's favorite Cereal - We lived as expats in Tokyo for about 4 years. Japan has many delicious foods however the products are quite a bit different from home. Peanut butter, Marshmallows, American brand Mac & cheese and granola can be found at a premium price in specialty grocery stores that are especially designed to attract Foreigners by importing goods from your home country. Calbee makes packaged snack foods and soft drinks for the Japanese market. This cereal while not American style Granola fast became our favorite cereal and snack food. it comes in many different flavors too! My favorite is the Fruit made with real freeze dried fruit pieces. My son likes the Macha and chocolate (bitter green tea and dark chocolate), my daughter likes the Apples and Honey, while my wife mixes them all together. compared to american brands there's much less added sugar and none of the preservatives that we use in our foods. Of course its non GMO. Also the food grown in japan has to pass stringent regulations for quality. For example most pesticides are illegal. Perhaps because it's against the law to injure someone in Japan. Anything that could contaminate the food would be forbidden just in case. It's important to note that I've seen questions about the safety of products coming from japan. This is disturbing. It's much like people not eating Chocolate from Hershey, PA because it's down stream from 3 mile island the sight of the famous China Syndrome melt down in the 70's. Since they use water for chocolate it must be radioactive Right? With that logic Hershey"s and Cadbury Chocolate is all unsafe . The idea that products form Japan are radioactive is preposterous. Fukushima ia a very large region of Japan its also one of the agricultural centers of Japan. The American designed Nuclear plant that failed during the 3/11 tsunami didn't contaminate every square mile of Japan or Fukushima for that matter. Only a very small area around the plant and the the town closest to the plant were needed to evacuate. Radioactive material is very heavy heavier than gold. Because of gravity it falls down and stays put. the real issue about the disaster is that the Japanese are a culture of perfection. This incident has exposed an imperfection that is uncomfortable to the Japanese government and people in a major way. If anyone has a chip on their shoulder about Japan like some chinese or korean nationals this is a great issue to make up fake news or propaganda. If you choose to believe that sort of thing, Perhaps you should stick to eating your Quaker granola, and stay away from chocolate. For everybody else I highly recommend this product it's not your 1970's american granola, it's a unique cerial that 128 million on an Superpower island country, the size of california, located on the other side of the earth, take for granted every day. Review: Pricy product - Price too high. Didn't like this

I have lived in Japan and this is good cereal. The only issue is the amount in the bag has been reduced from 800 grams to 750 grams. Also the price has went up in the last few months from $27 to $32 while the size has gotten smaller. I get it is the world we live in. It is just hard since it only cost about 750 to 800 yen for the same thing in Japan. Not that the yen rate is 124 to a $ I would think the price would go down. Anyway love the cereal compared to what I ca get in the states.

Very good Cereal
Very good cereal. My daughter loves it. We have been buying this cereal every other month. It is healthy and tastes like a strawberry and coconut. Just add milk of your choice and enjoy it. I do not think there is an alternative available on the market today. It is healthy and keeps you a full a long time due to low sugar content

My Favorite Cereal
This cereal is very hard to find and when you do find them, they get kind of pricy. This cereal is super tasty. It's health and taste great. The price on Amazon is a lot cheaper than retail. Highly Recommended!

Either the wrong item or inaccurate info
I love the product so much that I wanted to buy it in bulk. However, the item that arrived was different from what was described and turned out to be 750g x2 packs instead. It would be nice if the two matched

One bag of cereal was broken. I don't know if it was due to shipping problems or if it was shipped broken.
