I purchased a box of this foil from Amazon.com at a discount. Although the price was fair, the product itself is just "OK." The heavy duty foil is actually relatively thin and the edges often stick together as you're attempting to unroll (which causes it to tear prematurely). I definitely would not repurchase.

I disagree with the previous reviews. This aluminum foil is thinner than "heavy duty" foil, but I've grown to like it better. In fact, the non-recycled foil is unnecessarily thick! If you care foil works very well!

On the box it says "two lbs. of aluminum goes a long way". True, especially if you roll it as thin as they do. This version can't be even half as thick as the brand name Renyold's Aluminum Foil. The cutter on the box is made of cardboard, which works well only because this foil is so light weight. The thickness is not disclosed on the box.The claim of "100% recycled" is specious, as Aluminum is widely recycled, and all regular grade commercial aluminum has recycled content.If you want to "save the earth" buy a product made near you, and collect foil for recycling. Don't but an inferior 'green' foil imported from halfway around the world (this foil is made in Italy). It took extra oil to move the '100% recycled' aluminum to the plant: aluminum that otherwise would have been recycled anyway. 'Fake green' this product is.

I bought this in a local grocery store thinking the premium price was probably well worth it, especially being heavy duty.I was quite wrong. The best thing I can say is that the foil is aluminum foil. Upon opening, the foil roll was taped together. As I untapped the roll, the top sheet tore in half instantly and I realized this foil was THINNER and the target-brand standard foil it was replacing!If that wasn't enough, it appears it the aluminum for this foil is sourced from NJ, then shipped to be made into foil in Italy, then back to the US! You can't tell me that amount of shipping didn't neutralize the only benefit of this foil.Looks like back to a real heavy foil it is. This will only tear in the uses I had for it.

It seems everything I order on subscribe and save is damaged, and yes, these came damaged! Very disgusted!
