I've used a countless number of these when I worked as an electrician, but I moved a couple of states away and bought a house but I couldn't find these at the big box home improvement stores or even at the local professional building supply businesses. Amazon of course sells them. I didn't want the after siding siding block because I don't like the way they look, with these all you have to do is remove the outside edges, trace an outline on the siding, cut the siding, screw it to the cut out area, and caulk around and inside the unit. Once you hang the light fixture on it, it looks like the siding block was originally installed when the house was built, which I like a lot.

I haven't installed one of these before but was simple and straightforward. The plastic is harder than I thought it would be, definitely a good thing as it should last a while.

This is a great product. Made from sturdy plastic, face place fits snuggly and the punchouts come out easily. I used it to mount a new Ring Cam Spotlight. I'd highly recommend this.

Looks great. Can be mounted before or after siding is installed. Can be mounted horizontal or vertical. Easy to install.

Nice heavy duty quality though it is difficult to run caulk along the outside seam as recommended in documentation when it is installed on vinyl siding. Still recommend.

The product works great. I have to ask the seller why in the hell are you putting stickers on the working face of a product, I have to clean it now before it can be installed, just stupid!
