Sakkas Stonewashed Embroidered Cap Sleeve Maxi Long Dress

It is a really pretty dress. The material is soft, and comfortable. I'm 5'6" and it comes to mid shin level. Not the best length (I'd prefer to my feet), but the material is so pretty, and the fit so flattering and COMFORTABLE, that I may even get it in another color. Going to look sweet at my weekly meditation group. Bust 34, waist 27, hips 35 and it fits just a bit loosely. I've got the tie tied in the back, and may see what it looks like tied in the front. I like the way the sleeves fit; classy looking. Just a comfy dress that is great looking! I bought it S/M size, and in the copper. VERY PRETTY, and a definite keeper.

I wear 12 to 14 which is a large. This L/XL was sooooo small that even the next size up would be too small for me. I like oversized items that is why I ordered the L/XL so it would be big on me = but no L/XL is in fact a small with this brand. The item description should make American customers aware of this discrepancy. Also when I click on the sizing info here on this page all I get is shoe sizes - nothing about American dress sizes.

I was surprised when this dress arrived folded into a small shipping envelope, thinking it would be a wrinkled mess! However, it looks like I just pulled it from a hanger.I ordered the navy and it is exactly as pictured, the fabric doesn't look like denim, as described, which is another plus! I was concerned it would have that fake jeans look.The embroidered detail and buttons down the front give the impression it is an expensive dress. The length is perfect on me (I'm 5'9"), leaving about 4" to my ankles.The size fits well, perhaps just a tad small around the bust and arms. But, I think ordering a size up would make it too big. The arm holes are a little small and the sleeves a little short, plus they don't drape as shown in the picture. The sleeves are small triangle pieces, which show more arm on each side and leave the pointed center hanging off your shoulders.I had hoped the bodice would be slightly tailored to give a hint of shape. Pulling the ties a little tighter help, but not as much as I would like.Overall, it is a pretty dress and makes me feel "girlie". I ordered it to wear to a casual wedding next month and to the beach later this year. Hoping it washes well and is cool in the August heat.

Its a very pretty color and design, but the sizing is off for someone who is a true size 12. I ordered the large/xlarge as it stated was for a size 12-14. The top portion fitted somewhat ok but the waist down was too large. Not sure if the next size down would be better as I have fairly wide shoulders. I feel that they should have resized the dress to fit 10-12 and 14-16. I really liked the style and material.

The dress style is gorgeous, I tried this dress in 2 different sizes and they both were too small in the bust area for Plus Sizes. 1X/2X, and the 1X/2X were very narrow and small in the bust area. This maker Salk as should know how Plus Size Women are built over 80% of plus size women have larger chests and back. It's a shame because I had requested 4 dresses for my birthday present and then I ordered the 1X/2X Plus and I am returning that dress for the same reasons. That's 5 dresses, 5 sales that could of been made and they blew it. I even had a friend try the dress on who is a size and a half smaller than me and the same problem the back and chest area was too tight. Poor thought for Plus Sizes but a beautiful dress such a shame I'm really disappointed. Maybe Salk as can redeem themselves and either redesign this dress for larger women or stop advertising that their dresses fit true to size. It's false advertising and disappointing.

This dress is cool and even thought the fabric is soft and thin it is not see thru. The small/medium fit me perfectly and I am 5'6'' tall and weight about 135 pounds. I washed in cold water on the delicate cycle and hung to dry and it did not need to be ironed. It seems to slenderize. This dress is so comfortable, I ordered the steel blue and red. They are lovely too. The red is a subdued red with black accents accomplished through the embroidery.

This dress was very disappointing. It was too small, much shorter than shown, the cap sleeves were a cheap flimsy fabric, and it had a horrible chemical smell. I disliked it so much that I took it straight to Goodwill...never even wore it.

I have two of these -- a green and a purple. The colors are rich, and the dresses look more expensive than they are -- I have got compliments every time I wore them -- although they are definitely casual dresses - not to go out dancing. The fabric looks and feels like cotton. The cut is very flattering, and you can customize it with the ties in the back. I checked out a navy one, but the actual color was much, much darker and less exciting than what the pictures show. They took the return without a fuss and refunded within one day of receiving it. I recommend that you go a size up for a more flattering silhouette, and especially if you like it longer. I am 5'7, and the hem hits the middle of my leg, not at the calf the pictures show. Also, I have held closely three of these, but only one has the front panels perfectly aligned -- the green one. The purple especially has them mismatched -- the right side one inch longer than the left at the bottom and about 1/3 inch higher at the neck opening. Since these are going to be "casual" dresses for me, to still feel comfortable after over-eating, and so affordable, I am not going to make a big deal of it. My husband is a costume maker, and he can fix these little flaws quite easily -- if they end up bothering me too much. Overall, this is a great value for the money!

Das Kleid kam schnell, doch war es viel zu klein: ich habe normal 42/44, doch hier war L/XL höchstens 38/40, nicht wie angegeben 44/46. Das Material ist gut, weicher Stoff, so weit ich sehen konnte, auch von der Verarbeitung ok. Farbe schön. Leichter Geruch, sicher nach dem ersten Waschen nicht mehr vorhanden. Also habe ich es zurückgeschickt und in 1X/2X bestellt. Jetzt heißt es abwarten.

Only just got this, so I don't know how it will wear.It looks lovely. The largest size is only just big enough for a 39-40" bust, though. It fits, but not quite an generously as expected.

tissu confortable, jolie coupe. La taille L me convient parfaitement (je fais un 44 normalement). Je rachèterai probablement en d'autres couleurs.
