Fantastic large muffin/cake pan
I bought a couple of these muffin pans for making Texas sized muffins and cupcakes. I wasn't expecting the quality that came with this, but I am extremely satisfied the construction and the way they work. You do give up the sturdiness of the metal pans, but this avoids the paper cups [and having to peel that off] and gives a very nice texture to the muffin itself, as the sides are much more like the top. I tried these muffin pans with and without spray with slightly varied results. The finished product was the same from pan to pan, but extracting the muffins became an entirely different thing. Without spray, you could still peel back the sides and more or less push the muffin out. It was not a hard thing to do and there were no broken muffins, but it did take a little time and there was some sticking. With spray, I literally just dumped the muffins over and all 6 just flew out of the pan like they were glad to be rid of it. It was literally like a second to release vs the 2-3 minutes when not using the spray. The one surprising thing is that once treated with the spray, I have done up to 6 batches without putting any more spray on at all. This muffin pan is highly recommended if you like really large muffins and cakes. The cooking process was extremely easy and cleanup couldn't be easier either. Just toss it on the top rack of the dishwasher or dip in dishwater, rub a bit, and shake it out.

YUP, works wonderfully
I like to bake muffins and needed some new pans. I read about the silicone variety and because of the great price decided to give these a try. Can't praise on their baking abilities and quality. Their easy to clean and the muffin just pop right out of them without any greasing, spraying or liners. The are a bit flimsy because their not like a regular metal pan but it's no problem for me in exchange for all of the other good qualities.

Nice, cleans up well. Reasonably priced.
I like the size of these cup cake silicone bakeware. I don't like that it's really flimsy and you DO NEED A COOKIE SHEET TO SET IT ON WHEN BAKING.

Easy to get my cheesecakes out
Rather than making one big cheesecake, we thought abut using 2 muffin pans and making little ones. And then I thought, well how would we get them out? Muffin pans are not individually spring formed. So the thought came if they had the rubber ones, I could push up from the bottom and kinda pop them out. Well, we jumped in and tried it, and they work perfectly! We make these Keto Low Carb cheesecakes with the almond flour crust on the bottom and then put the cheescake filling in and then bak them. I would put these on a cookie sheet as the are rubber, so when you pull them out of the oven they will be bendy, and with hot foods, you could spill stuff. So use on the cookie sheet for sure, or have something right there to pull it out and slide them onto, but that could go wrong. These worked good and the filling dod not stick to the side, we used cooking spray in one cup and it didn't seem to matter whether we used spray or not, they popped right out when pushing up from the bottom. I guess it might depend on each individual recipe or ingredients. So I can say 5 stars for mini cheesecakes!

Pros and Cons
I want to start this review by saying that I really, really wanted these pans to work. It was also clear from the product description that although they were advertised as "Texas" size, they do not have the same measurements as the Texas-size metal pans I have been using up to now (these are 2 inches bottom, 3 inches top, 2 inches deep, as compared to metal "Texas" sized pan which is 2.5 inches bottom, 3.5 inches top, and ALSO 2 inches deep - the importance of this detail will appear in the "cons" section) but I decided to try them anyway. On the "pros" side, I like the fact that the sides are smooth, not "imitation corrugated" like some of the silicone muffin liners for sale. I also experimented with a batch of raisin bran buttermilk muffins, which are substantial in texture, not "delicate" - they took 35 minutes to bake in the metal "Texas" pan, and 35 minutes to bake in these pans, though the size is somewhat smaller than the "Texas" pan. The pans clean up very easily, which is also a plus. While I did notice a chemical odor in the first 15 minutes of use, this faded away as the baking continued, and did not return on the second use of the pans. I did not detect any transfer of the odor to the finished muffins. The pans are well-made, and look like they will last well, which was important to me, as my reason for looking at silicone in the first place, was to avoid having to buy paper muffin-pan liners which are one-use-only, and the cost mounts up over time. On the "cons" side, the muffins did stick, as other reviewers mentioned. There was residue left on all the surfaces, but the biggest problem was with the bottom of the muffin. Having read the reviews, I tried cooling them for 10 minutes and removed one. The bottom stayed in the pan, though I flexed the sides and then pushed up from the bottom. I had the same result at 20, 30, and 40 minutes cooling time. When I made a second batch, I left all 12 muffins in the 2 pans for 3 hours, 'til they were cold. I still had 2 bottoms left behind in the cups, as I attempted to flex and push out the first 6 (interestingly, the middle 2, where there is less accessibility to flex and push, just given the nature of the design of a pan rather than individual liners). It seems to me that the depth of the cup is the problem, as by the time I pushed up from the bottom to release it, the cup flexed in at the sides and basically sliced off the bottom! On my final attempt, with the 2nd pan of cold muffins, I tried turning the whole pan upside down, flexing the pan to loosen the sides, and then gently pushing on and tapping to loosen the bottoms. Gravity did the trick, and they all came out in 1 piece. It was tempting to say "OK, I can make this work", but the final "con" decided me against it. Going back to the narrower size of the cup, compared to the equal depth between these pans and the Texas-sized metal pans, which I mentioned initially, the muffins are top-heavy with a narrower base to support them - and so they easily tip over onto their sides when arranged on a plate. I truly regret to conclude that I will be going back to my old, well-worn Texas-sized metal pans and paper liners. Update: I did find that these work really well, when greased, for baking muffins that are yeast-based, but are of the consistency of batter. Batter-type muffins stick a lot to the sides of paper liners, and a lot of the muffin is left behind when peeling off the paper - but using these pans and a little grease, they lifted out beautifully. So I'm keeping them after all, and upgraded my rating to reflect being more happy about the purchase than I was.

Isn't a large muffin size despite description
The description didn't really match the product, described as Texas muffin moulds but are really just normal sized muffin tray. Bit disappointed
