My special needs daughter will unbuckle her seatbelt without this lock. This lock was a game changer for us. It secures her perfectly. The product includes a rectangular key to release the lock. I don’t use it though. A standard house key works just fine. I even bought one for her school bus driver.

I have a 70lb Pitbull who gets buckled up in the backseat to keep him from getting up front he used to use his feet to unbuckle himself this worked perfectly. He now stays safely buckled and it's not able to get himself unbuckled. Would highly recommend.

This was so easy to install. It is perfect size and durable. It helps give peace of mind that my baby’s car seat stays buckled and my other kids don’t unfasten his buckled. Thick enough to where it can’t accidentally be unbuckled.

*Edit: My wife and I ended up finding a good use for these after our dog kept setting off the "unbuckled passenger" alarm for the backseat and stepped on the buckle several times on one trip. While they ensured our daughter couldn't unbuckle while we were going down the road, they made it extremely difficult for us to both buckle and unbuckle her and we ended up taking them off. They are sturdy but they just didn't suit our needs and therefore I don't personally recommend them.

These are light weight and easy to install and remove. It actually prevents little hands from pressing the seatbelt release. We got these for our son who’s autistic because he was able to unbuckle himself. It comes with small key tools to press the button when an adult needs to release the buckle or a regular car key works too. We chose bright red so it stands out and it’s been really helpful for our family.

Unlike other buckle guards I have purchased (Houdini) these worked with the seatbelts in my Toyota corolla due to the cut out in the design which enabled the belt to be done up. Kept my dog from undoing the seatbelt. Need to use the supplied key to open the buckle.

I wish they sold three packs, as I want these on all my backseat clips. It has stopped my dogs standing on the push and releasing themselves / setting off the seatbelt alarm while I'm driving. Any key will undo the lock but works best with car keys or their attachment.
