Thank you for your question. These would be suitable for storing soup in the freezer. As they are also microwave and dishwasher safe, they can then also be used for reheating once defrosted.

Q: is it good for brewing tea

I bought mugs for microwave soup heating. I suppose you could make tea in them, but I found that as they a lip round the rim they were difficult to drink from.
