Book arrived in mint condition as described. But the seller did not agree after discovering TWO dog eared pages that took me over an hour to find. Due to that he included a substantial rebate on the purchase price. Way too much for an issue I wouldn’t have know about otherwise. Finding somebody this honest and conscientious is a rare treat. Very good cookbook with some great recipes. Chef Pepin doesn't fail to teach us that simple ingredients can make wonderful meals.

just what I expected excellent

In all candor, I have occasionally watched Jacque Pepin and been a little underwhelmed. But then there is this book! Since we moved, and all of my cookbooks are in storage, I resorted to buying one recommended by a close friend. This book is worth far more than I spent --- the recipes are healthy, inventive, and simple to prepare.

These are fairly easily performed recipes with a variety of ingredients to please everyone! As with other Jacques Pepin cookbooks, there are complete menus for a cook to choose from.

The book is in great shape. Even better than I expected. My one problem was that there was a broker fee to pay that I wasn't expecting. I wish that I had been told ahead of time.
