Raos Specialty Food Homemade Marinara Premium Pasta Sauce, 24 Ounce -- 12 per case.

I was looking for a sauce that was sugar-free but the remaining ingredients were good. I thought this jar was more expensive than I thought it should be with less ingredients than most! But after using the sauce for many different recipes, I am willing to pay the extra for it. RAO's is now my "go-to" sauce and I don't have to spend all day making it. Probably too expensive if you need more than one jar for a family meal, but for one or two people, you will have leftovers the next day to help lessen the cost of the meal. I bought it by the case to be sure I had plenty for the year!

They changed it! It used to be the best bottled sauce ever, then I ate some in mid February 2020 and it tasted completely different, almost like Ragu. My 14 year old daughter even commented how bad it was. I looked at the jar and it now says “Made with Italian Tomatoes “. I had an older jar and did a side by side comparison and the new version is completely different, it’s now awful. The old jar say “Product of Italy”. So sad to ruin such a great product.

So this package came with two cracked bottles, looking like it had sat for a while because the sauce was dried onto the other bottles and then it was repackaging with the broken bottles, wet cardboard and stuck into a second package. Two of the bottles totally cracked.

Finally a marinara that tastes like homemade and not “canned”. Not the cheapest but worth every penny.So good, I ordered a case 😋

Shut up, this is the best food created by humanity. You could eat it straight like soup, but watch out if you have mouth-located piercings bcuz it will minutely seep around the post/s and leave a grody orange residual grease corona on your face surrounding said piercing/s.

This is so phenomenal that it leaves you speechless all I can say is Mamma Mia delicious !!!

I have been buying this product for years. The sauce was great, tasted homemade and was worth the premium price. It is now much cheaper and the discerning customer can tell the difference. It is oily and no longer has the bright, delicious flavor of the past. I will not be buying it again.

Though most of the reviews are very positive, I found Rao's Homemade Marinara Sauce to be a bit too acidic and too salty.
