Basil Essential Oil - 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade Basil Oil by Natural Acres - 10ml

I have a child with ADD who is having a hard time concentrating when she studies, so I was very happy to be given a bottle of Basil essential oil by Natural Acres to review. When diffused Basil oil helps reduce anxiety and promote focus, so I'm starting to diffuse it while she does her homework.If diffusing it as she does homework seems to be helpful, then I'll get her one of those adorable diffuser necklaces so she can have some to inhale at school too. One downside about basil is the aroma makes me hungry though! I'm sure you're familiar with the scent from using it in cooking, but in case you aren't, the fragrance is sort of warm, herbal, and minty.I also read that Basil oil is a natural muscle relaxer, so I mixed some drops along with some spearmint oil in fractionated coconut oil and massaged some into my sore neck muscles. It smelled fantastic, but more importantly it felt cooling and soothing, so I plan to continue using it as needed whenever I'm achy.This Basil essential oil is advertised as 100% pure therapeutic grade oil, and I have no reason to doubt that claim. It comes in a 10ml size dark amber glass bottle with a built-in Euro-dropper cap which helps you measure out the number of drops you want without any waste. I know what basil smells like because I use it in cooking all the time. I like the smell of green basil because it reminds me of nature and plants and this soothes me. So this individual 10 mL glass bottle of pure basil oil is a welcome and well-used product. I received this essential oil sample for testing purposes and this is my honest and unbiased review.Basil oil has many benefits—it can be applied topically, orally, and used as a respiratory relief agent. Topically, it serves to improve skin tone. It can also treat indigestion, constipation, stomach pains and cramps, as well as providing relief from colds, flu, and fever.I suffer from asthma and allergies, and this basil essential oil has given me temporary relief when I use it on my diffuser. It really opens up your sinuses and soothes respiratory infections and problems.I do wish that these bottles were secured better, such as having a separate seal to avoid contamination. The bottle I received leaked and ended up making the bottle sticky. The smell when I originally received it was also overwhelming due to this.

I put this on my husbands feet and WHOA amazing.Put this on your toe nails if you have those deep lines, ridges, grooves. Removes it immediately. Mix with a carrier oil massage it on your feet, the toenails etc and your toenails will look the way God intended. It helped peel off dead skin often associated with Athletes feet too. Great smell perfect for your hair growth.

This is a really good, high quality oil. I will definitely purchase again. Natural Acres also sells sets of essential oils, which are equally amazing and affordable.This company definitely stands by their product and are quick to respond to any problems. I had a packaging issue and even though Natural Acres was not at fault, they quickly followed up and rectified the situation well beyond my expectations. I definitely recommend this basil oil and any of their other phenomenal products.

I use this in my diffuser for the smell. Smells like basil!

We have many oils to use in our diffuser, but this one is way too strong and not a pleasant smell. Too bad because I got it for my son's room and Basil is supposed to be great for asthmatics.

Haven't used it yet. Just adding to my collection. That's why only 4 stars. I'm sure when I do use it, it will be great.
