Have used foot peels before with zero issue. No issues with this one either. A lot of reviews are saying this left their feet sore, blistered, and irritated to the point they couldn't walk. Some reviews also claim it's advertised falsely ; not sure how they came to that conclusion. Can only say it may be a case of buyers remorse from them. Know your skin type and follow the directions and you will be fine. If you're legitimately concerned, consult a dermatologist. I used this as directed and within three days my feet began to peel. I did not experience any burning during the application. Even with the peeling my feet barely even itch. The booties do have a line that indicate where you need to cut. Bear in mind it probably won't be a perfect cut so you may have to make a secondary cut in order to open the boots. I secured them per the directions and they didn't move and were secure. A lot of reviews said they didn't close right. Not so if you follow the directions. A lot of reviews also complained about the lack of perfect peeling, indicating they were expecting it to be more mask like (like a face mask, and yes I'm aware it's labeled as 'foot mask') and come off in one piece. Again, not so. Directions say it will start exfoliating/peeling within 5-7 days depending on skin type. Not sure how someone gets "skin will peel immediately" from that. Smell is pleasant and left my skin smooth after use. After removing the boots I did massage the liquid into my skin but also rinsed off the excess and went to bed with socks on to lock in the moisture. Easy to use and instructions are clear. For me: Day 1 and 2: No burning or irritation and I do have sensitive skin. I wore them for 90 minutes, as I had extreme callouses on my feet. I wore with my slippers covering them. Day 3: The skin on my feet felt very tight. They are still very soft. Day 4: The skin has cracks and started to peel. I did not put any lotion on them. Day 5 and 6: Holeee smokes, they are peeling pretty good. Kind of gross but I knew what I was in for. I kept socks on to sleep because it didn’t want that dead skin all over. Day 7: Still peeling all over. I started putting lotion on them and it helps remove it. I used a hard sponge to get more off. Day 8: Finally peeling between toes. My feet are still super soft. More lotion! Day 9: I think I have new feet! The callouses are gone and they look so much better. More lotion! I recommend this product. I was very nervous about doing this and waited over a month before I did. Mostly I didn’t want to deal with constant peeling skin. These are very reasonably priced and worked better than I imagined.

I did this foot mask four days ago and this is how it went up until now: - put foot mask on and left them on for 90 minutes as suggested - day two I had extremely itchy feet and noticed that I had quite a bit of a reaction (I have very sensitive skin even on my feet I guess) - day three the itchiness continued but my little reaction to it went away. It is super itchy due to the skin being so dry and tight. - kept lotioning my feet after every wash - day four there was no itchiness at all but my feet are now starting to peel around my toes and the thinner skin. I am hoping that the thicker skin on my heels will peel off as well. So far a pretty decent foot mask. Smells really strong like lavender or essential oils its not bad at all and quite nice.

I had honestly forgotten about it, until 3-4 days later when I took my sock off, and a million flakes fell out. On average when I use the product, my feet start peeling on the 2nd or 3rd day. I recommend wearing socks at night when you sleep if you can to prevent skin flakes from being in your bed. The first few times I used the product, I would pick at the flaking skin. Now I find that if I just wash my feet normally, moisturize them as usual and wear socks, the skin sloths off in larger flakes and the results are better. In case people find the picking and peeling to be very satisfactory, my results weren't bad when I picked the skin off, it just didn't seem to be as good as when I let it naturally come off with no help from me.
