This worked absolutely perfectly for my homemade protein gummies. I paired it with malic acid because I LOVE extra sour candy. I’m not really a sweet-and-sour candy person, I’m more of a “make your face hurt” extreme sour candy person lol. The combination of this citric acid and the malic acid gave my gummies that old-school super sour candy flavor that reminded me of those sour candies that came in little tins growing up but with all the added health benefits. I originally bought this during my bariatric journey because I was trying to make healthier protein gummies while still satisfying my sour candy cravings, and honestly it exceeded expectations. The texture blended really well into my gummy recipes, there was no weird smell or odor, and a little goes a long way. The container will last me a while, which is great. I also like that these come in the container it does, because I can take them with me on vacation next month and make some more. While all the other families snacking, I’ll have my personalized protein gummy’s, which will be great to help me keep my goals up! I think it’s a really good value for the money because you don’t need much at all to get that strong sour coating/taste. If you prefer something more like Sour Patch Kids, which are sweeter in my opinion, you may want to mix this with a little sugar or sugar alternative for coating. But if you love intense sour candy, this is AMAZING for homemade gummy making.

I LOVE Fruit Riot, so I got the citric acid and malic acid here on Amazon and I’m saving a ton of money, as each bag is close to $7.00. I freeze grapes, then use these ingredients, along with sugar and lemon juice, and make my own. Tastes sour and fresh, nice packaging, and this much will last me probably a year, as only a little bit is super sour! I love it. Helps with the candy cravings while dieting also.

I use it to wash dishes and it works amazingly! The best decision I made not using hash chemicals to wash my dishes! I just wish I bought I a smaller size Wich is not necessarily bad, just my space under the sink isn't the best.

I am a new pressure canner practitioner. I’ve been watching tons of YouTube videos on the topic. I ran across a video that suggested Citric Acid baths for canning potatoes and how it helps retain the white of the potatoes after processing. I’m glad I used it because as the YouTube creator mentioned, it does keep them from darkening. The potatoes look way more appetizing than they do without using it. I would highly recommend using it if your potatoes look less than appetizing after processing.
