Anthony's Organic Dried Spearmint Leaves, 1 lb, Gluten Free, Non GMO, Cut and Sifted

This bag was so much bigger than I was expecting! I purchased this in order to make tea by the gallon; I have PCOS, and spearmint tea helps with some of the issues that come with living with the disorder. Other cysters say 2 cups a day is ideal; I'm not one to drink hot tea all the time, so I bought this to make full gallons of iced tea. These aren't full leaves; they're chopped up like what you'd find if you cut open a tea bag. If you don't have a tea strainer, you're going to want to invest in one, or get a fine mesh strainer to pour your tea through. I alternate between throwing it in the pot to steep loose and using a strainer, or filling 2 tea balls for steeping. Depends on how much work I want to put in. The scent upon opening the bag is wonderful, and I was surprised at how delicious a tall, cold glass of spearmint iced tea would be. This summer will be delightfully refreshing!

Bought this in bulk as spearmint tea is supposed to be a good treatment for my PCOS. This tastes great, makes so much more than you'd think, and has been a great addition to my evening routine.

I’ve never steeped spearmint leaves before to make a tea. This is a new experience for me. I use several other Anthony’s products so there’s a strong existing trust level. This product does not disappoint. Fresh. Extremely aromatic when I opened the package. And having just steeped my first brew, wondering if the spearmint flavor would come through, based on concerns I had from a few other reviews, I was very happy that with the first sip my nose picked up the strong spearmint aroma and then my taste buds followed through with a very strong spearmint taste. I steeped one heaping tablespoon of leaves in eight ounces of water. I set the temperature level on my adjustable hot water maker to 185F.

The bag is HUGE and I love the quality!

A rather strong mint. It's stronger than the mint I grew in my garden. Tea that I made with this mint , had to be watered down a bit because it really is a strong mint flavor

Received it today. It is a large bag of whole spearmint leaves in a seal proof bag for convenience. Great for the money. Color and texture good Great health benefits, skin, digestion, joint pain, memory and for cooking. Make some tea!!! Taste great!!!

It's over-cut and/or under-sifted, imo. Tastes great, but there's more powder than flakes. What flakes there are are very tiny, and the rest is powder. I make my own tea using this, and a lot of particles get through the tightly woven muslin bags I use. If you use a metal teaball, most of your tea leaves will end up at the bottom of your cup! I tend to like the Anthony's brand, so decided to try it, but will go back to Frontier Co-op, which is also organic and reasonably priced, but is bigger flakes that leave behind less residue. I'll continue buying Anthony's for different items--just not dried spearmint. LOL I've never gotten any of their dried herbs before... maybe all the "flakes" are this powdery? Maybe I got a wonky batch? I dunno, but I've always been pleased with Frontier, so I'll get that from now on.

I love it! The bag is huge and so convenient. I love that it comes with directions. I'm in my thirties and I started having the worst hormonal acne, nothing, nothing has helped! From day 1, the acne flare-ups stopped, and on day 2, the swelling went down. I used it for maybe 6 days. I stopped taking it for 2 days and got new pimples, so I know for sure it's the tea making a difference. I drink 2 cups a day.
