Perfect fit

Great. Installed it easily and saved a few bucks. So far seems to working fine.

This is an excellent "original" product. But there are alternatives at 1/4 the price that have performed equally well for me, for several years. I would suggest a little shopping might be in order. I only mention this because, I have been using these UV-units for 20-years. I only purchased only "original" Viqua Lamps for the first 10-years or so, as I watched the price triple for no apparent reason over time. The last time I checked they were up to $144/bulb vs $39 for a compatible replacement.

My UV lamp burned out. This was my fault, it was 3 months past its expiration. I ordered this lamp and it arrived in 3 days in excessive bubble wrap (I was worried I would receive a broken lamp.) This is not a knock-off lamp. It's the genuine item. It fired right up and our water is safe again.

DOA. Filaments look intact. It simply doesn't power up. I plug the $39 bulb back in, lights up fine. I assumed by paying 3.5x the price of the generic replacements I would be buying a quality, reliable product. Much nicer packaging than the cheap variants. Its aggravating to make the effort to replace the lamp only to find it doesn't work and you have to reinstall the original bulb until it can be replaced. DI also decided to replace the quartz lamp sleeve and was reminded this VIQUA Sterilight UV lamp is a sad example of poor engineering with no thought obviously given to user friendliness.

Have used these in my UV disinfection unit for past twelve years. The bulbs always have lasted the 12 months between changes. The bulbs are more expensive than non OEM, but I want to make sure that the disinfection is operating at the optimal level, which is worth a couple of dollars more per month for me.

Exactly as advertised. Easy to install. Well packaged every time. Once a year and done.

Affordably priced and lasts a long time.
