Outstanding band
This is the first Barton band I've bought and I will be a returning customer. I tend to wear more bracelets than bands, but I recently got an Orient Defender 2 with the green face, and while the bracelet is okay, it's more on the side of 'meh' than 'good'. For the price point, I wasn't expecting even an average bracelet, but Orient really didn't put much into it, frankly. I'm kind of turning the Defender 2 into my everyday wear and having a good band for that is necessary. This band does not disappoint. It isn't cheap fabric that is easily going to fray with everyday wear (I don't think) and was comfortable on first wear -- no break-in period needed. The color is great, and doesn't bleed (like some other cheaper straps I've bought have) and dries quickly. Make sure you know what sizing works for you. You might need the "long" version if your wrist is > 7.25". I have a 7"-ish wrist and it's perfect. I don't have a ton of extra strap; it fits comfortably and has just a little extra to tuck into the keeper loop without having to wrap it back around. It's almost perfect in length and exactly how I like to wear bands. Not hard to install at all, and the included instructions were easy to follow. I will be replacing other cheaper bands with Barton as they wear down for sure, and this will be my go-to brand for newer timepieces that I think will look good in NATO style instead of leather, rubber and even bracelets.

Well made, good fit, casio gwm5610
The Barton 22mm NATO strap, all black, seems to be well-made, well sized for an average sized man's wrist, and comfortable. The length is perfect, with no need to adjust or fold the strap back under the loop - there is no excess, nor shortage of length. Will try to update review in a few months after seeing how well it holds up to every day wear and tear. Ordered this to attach to a Casio GWM5610 after the original resin(?) strap developed tears in the eyelets after a few years of everyday wear. In order to do this, one needs adapters such as "JaysAndKays metal adapters" from the other big online sales site that starts with an E and rhymes with bay. This pair of metal adapters allows for a 22mm NATO strap to attach to the 16mm Casio watch. It looks and feels great. Update: After about 6 months of daily wear and no tear, I maintain 5 stars. I am impressed at the quality. I was unsure if it was going to be a cheapo thing that frayed and came apart after a while. But no, this strap, for the price, is quite good. There is no fray anywhere along any of the edges. The hole where I buckle it, I do unbuckle it daily for shower and whatnot, so that particular strap hole gets used a lot, so it does show some slight bit of wear, but I suspect it will keep going for months or years, probably years. If at any point I need to switch to an adjacent hole, I will, but there is no tearing or fraying. This is a great impressive strap. I actually plan on buying a second one just in case i accidentally have a freak accident and cut this one with a knife or something. It holds up to sweat, grimey yard work, dirt, washing with dawn soap, salt, showers, digging, mechanical work, etc. Extremely comfortable, like you forget it's even there. The metal parts do not tarnish or ever look bad. Stellar strap. 10 out of 10.

Nice, Not Particularly Robust
Barton seems to have a lot of exposure on Amazon, and is presented as being good stuff. I searched awhile to find a color that would go well with my Orient Ray II blue, and settled on the gray w/linen strap. It looks great, feels comfortable and fits my on-the-smaller-side wrist. However it's not as robust as I was expecting it to be. It's not one of the thick nylon weave straps like my Momentum quartz watch came with - that's okay, as long as it's durable. But it also has a somewhat flimsy buckle (see other reviews about the spring bar which attaches the buckle, probably won't be a problem for me but it's a consideration, especially if you're rough on straps) and the strap end (which sticks out a little awkwardly - I may cut down the end just a cm or so) is constantly fraying off lint. It doesn't look frayed, yet. I can pull off the lint and it looks fine again, but it's a constant source of lint and will probably stay frayed-looking with time. It's not sealed well. If nothing else, you may need to take a lighter to it. Overall, this is a nice color that can be hard to find, the linen color comes very close to matching the lume on my watch, and the slightly thin weave makes it easy to slip into watches with not much space between the case and the spring bars. But I have the feeling this will either need to be replaced fairly soon with wear and tear, or just won't end up being to my liking over the long haul. I wavered between three and four stars, but, despite my quibbles I do like the way it looks and feels.

A tad outside the box fit for Casio SGW 100B.
I like this brand and have used quite a few. Always quality, attractive and install nicely. The outside the box note here is that I kind of adapted this to a Casio SGW 100B. The original band died young and the replacement I got for it was stiff. The tab end seemed to get caught on cuffs and anything else it could find. I wanted to use a NATO band for this watch. The case design does not make this practical. Only recently did it hit me that I may be able to use the original metal brackets to slip a NATO style under since the spring bars are blocked by the original case design. The key was the right width and thinner strap material. This strap hit the mark. The experiment worked and this band is comfortable. It did allow the case to slip a bit on the spring bars. So, the fix was a tiny drop of thin super glue on both sides of the bottom of the case tab right at the point where the spring bar passed through the center tab of the case. To me this looks fine, feels good and is easy to do.

Wonderful band. Far better than what Timex is making now, and I can explain why
Timex bands like this now have these metal pieces similar to the one on this type that are squared and not round. On the Timex models, the metal pieces will not lie down. This band, in contrast, has only one of the those, and it DOES lie down. That’s important if you care about comfort. Plus, having only one, it’s not much in the way. The fact that the main extra-length of strap restraint is strapping itself—that lays down very flat—makes this watch band extra comfortable if you type a lot or other desk like activities. These are well made and very nice. I have small wrists so these are quite long for me. It was super easy to cut the size down a bit. What I do is just cut across the to the length I want, and then I cut the corners off where I just made that cut. Makes a nice shape. Then, a little touch of the lighter to melt the ends to they don’t fray and you are good to go. Looks great. Easy to do. I highly recommend this watch strap. it’s an excellent value.

Very comfortable and durable!
Love this band. Very comfortable and tough. My black and white striped band looks vibrant - the black is very dark and the white is bright white. The bottom of the strap can slightly dig in if you're resting your hand/wrist on something. But that doesn't happen too often and it's not every time your wrist is on something. The strap holes are also in good places. You can easily go from very tight to nice and comfortable/breathy just by going down one hole. Going up or down one doesn't make it too tight or too loose. I have a 7-7.5 inch wrist and I wear it on the 4th or 5th holes (usually the 5th because I like it tighter). Also, the little leftover flap can be tucked in on smaller wrists, or sits perfectly about the watch. The lines also perfectly line up when you do this with the section under the flap. Highly recommend this strap. Don't expect much with the buckle but it's definitely good enough. For the price, it'd be hard to find a better strap. Barton also seems to be a good company but I didn't have to contact support. They did send an email IIRC after my purchase making sure I was happy, which was notable for me.

OK for 12 bucks.
I chose this strap to go on a watch I only wear at night because it has an alarm. So, I wasn't looking for something to take any real type of abuse. It really wouldn't make sense to compare this to more expensive straps and I don't expect it to match the quality of something more expensive either. As far as durability goes, I can tell you this from just 1 day.... the holes stretch almost immediately. Not sure if this is an issue of just aesthetics or function yet. I'm guessing this gets worse over time. Regarding other reviews about bad buckle pins, I tested mine out as soon as I got it. Gave it a good few minutes of twisting it around and yanking on it... all good. We'll see. It's thin. It's also very comfortable. I think that's because it's thin. I have no issues with this. This strap would be most appropriate on a light weight watch though. Like a Timex with a resin case. Particularly if you like to wear yours a little loose. The one thing I did have to do that was semi-disappointing was that I had to melt the end of the strap to prevent it from fraying. I could see that it was already beginning to fray a little only after taking it on and off a few times. I just hit the ends of it with a lighter and took care of it. Probably should not have to do this at any price point. Good enough in my use case!

Good quality strap
I purchased one of these for a relative to replace a snapped Casio watch strap and it certainly looks the part. It is woven nylon and has a food modern feel in a navy colour. And matches the watch quite well time will tell how long it lasts but it’s really Comfortable . Recommended
