would a clear bubble shield work with these frames?

I personally do not think so, based on how much material there is surrounding the bolt holes on the frame, I think your bubble cover would not "nest" properly.

I would like to know if this is a snap-on holder that will work with the "trident case 22-inch gooseneck seat rail/floor mount" sold on amazon?

You want to mount your license plate to a gooseneck? The license plate frame is probably as deep as 3 plates. I made a Lexan back plate and used spacers to firmly mount the frame and plate to the Lexan. Not sure what you are tying to build. I hope this helps.

I assume they can be. Although in my state(NY) it is illegal to put any cover , clear or not, over the plates.
