Oribe Silverati Shampoo - Protects & Brightens Grey & Silver Hair - 8.5oz

I have long, fine (thin) hair with gray/white streaks. My hair was dirty blonde naturally, but I had been coloring it to hide the gray. In 2024, I decided to stop coloring it. I always liked how my hair looked while I used Pantene Pro V shampoo/conditioner, but Oribe Silverati shampoo and conditioner is even better. My gray streaks pop and my hair is shiny. It feels soft and looks like there is more body as well. It has a clean smell, not perfumy. I followed the instructions and left the shampoo and conditioner on for 1 minute of luxuriate time. If you have long hair like me, I recommend a quarter-size dab. I used a dime-size dab of the conditioner and that was just right for my fine hair. The shampoo makes a moderate lather, but less than my last shampoo. My hair does not feel dry. It will be interesting to see how my hair is in a few more washes but so far I'm pleased. It's expensive but I don't have to use much of the products each time, so I'm hoping it will last maybe a year which would make it more budget friendly?

This is an amazing shampoo. After growing my gray hair out I began I have problems with purple tinting and yellowing from heat. I had salon treatments but not much improvement. I came across this shampoo on Amazon, after reading reviews I thought I would try. I could see a difference after my first use. I am so happy with my hair now, my purple tint is gone and the yellows are barely visible. I will never use purple shampoo again! I know it’s a little pricey, but I think worth every penny!

This is pricey shampoo - not everyone can afford this and if I was really watching what I spend I would not be able to use this product. Having said that, it does leave my gray hair (55 year old male) feeling nicly moisturized without being geasy. Certainly does appeat to make my hair look nicer, younger. FOR THE PEOPLE HERE WHO REPORT GETTING BAD/INCORRECT PRODUCT - while I didn't have this problem with this purchase, I did buy a belt from Amazon that some criminal purchased before me, swaped out the original, and replaced with a old junk belt, then returned to Amazon for a refund. This is not Amazon's fault of course, I don't expect them to be able to check every return (and shampoo - come on - of course they can't check that). It took me awhile to get through the bots on Amazon's customer support site but I was persistant. Really more becuase I didn't want to be a jerk and return the same junk just to get a refund myself and perpetuate the problem to another innocent person just like me. In the end, I was able to get in a chat with a real person from Amazon's customer support and explained the issue, sending in a picture. They not only refunded the belt cost, but the credited me with the full cost of a replacement and apologized for my trouble. So if this happened to you - give Amazon a chance to make it right.

Don't use purple shampoo on silver hair this Oribe is wonderful makes that silver pop

Until I saw a review just now that the color of the actual Oribe Silverati shampoo has a slight silver/blue color to it, I have not understood why this very expensive shampoo has not helped keep my all white hair all white. The shampoo I received from Amazon is creamy yellow. When I first used the shampoo, I was very disappointed because I thought it *turned* my hair yellow. I stopped using it and reverted to other shampoos that promise better results. I hate to waste things, though, so I tried it again this week, and once again, have observed my hair has taken on a yellowish tint again. I came back to read through the reviews again, and saw that the color of the shampoo I received was off. So I will just toss the bottle out. Lesson learned. Would not buy from Amazon, unfortunately, though. It was a costly mistake.

I have a mix of about 1/4 gray and 3/4 white hair, and a problem with yellowing. I tried this for the first time about a month ago, and it did nothing for the yellowing. I was wondering if it just takes a while to work, so have been using it every other shampoo (and I generally shampoo every day). I would say my hair looks slightly better but it's hard to tell, the improvement is very subtle. At least it didn't turn my hair purple. Also, a little does go a long way. So, my experience hasn't been great but not terrible either. I'm not sure if I'll buy it again but I might.

Expensive, but stops grey hair looking yellow, and guves a lovely shine. You use verexpensivey little, so a bottle lasts quite a long time.

I love this product. I have been here for a few years now. Good to know I’ll be able to fight in Amazon and it’s very fast and lively.
