The color is frost bite...but it definitely has a MERMAID vibe. So, so pretty! Transitions from pale blue to green to pink-ish depending on how light hits it.

Doesn't keep it's pretty mermaid blue color. Almost looks bluish silver.

I was excited to get this item because I have other of the same brand and love it. But this one unfortunately is very thick and goopy and bubbles when used, probably because it is a thick application, but because of the consistency of the polish, you can’t get it thinner. Unfortunately, it’s not eligible for an exchange or refund. Very disappointed.

I was surprised at the number of negative reviews but suspect those reviewers were using artificial light, under which Hooked just looks like an aqua chrome. Under any amount of natural light, Hooked is clearly a chrome-like aqua holo which shifts into purple. I got almost full coverage on the first coat. The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is that I had some minor bubbling on a few of my nails. However, I will admit I’m not super comfortable with wide paddle nail polish brushes like the one which came with this bottle, so the bubbles may be the result of my application technique.
