This is my second try at a cutting board of this nature. My fist one (not from this seller) was cracked all over the place and I didn’t even use it yet. This one is a win! Bonus is that both sides are usable for different reasons! The one side is a traditional cutting board with a nice “moat” for collecting any kind of run off from what you are cutting and the other side has a nice area for crackers or whatnot and can be used as a charcuterie board! There are not any rubber footers for slipping/sliding, but I use it on top of a silicone mat and that does the trick! Really nice piece - looks great and functional!

To say that I am impressed with my new Sonder cutting board is simply not enough. I received the Sonder Winsome board a few days ago and it is quite beautiful. I washed and oiled it, as per instructions, and while using it for the first time I noticed a small line that was concerning. Since Sonder offers a warranty, I immediately reached out to Sonder LA in an email and included pictures...just to be sure. I received a thoughtful and comprehensive reply a short time later. While reassuring me the line was likely a normal seam, I was asked to send a pic with a different view. After sending a new pic, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a response from Sonder's co-founder on a weekend! I was reassured this was a normal seam and the construction of the board was solid. I understand Sonder LA is a small business and the care they show their customers is exceptional. The email conversations were thorough, kind and gracious. I chose Sonder for a new cutting board based on online recommendations. I wanted a quality board without spending upwards of $300 for a cutting board. I am happily confident that I accomplished just that with my Sonder cutting board. My recommendation is this: do not hesitate to purchase a Sonder LA cutting board!

This is a beautiful board, can't wait to use it

Following several months of use. I did a lot of research before deciding to buy this board. It has excellent construction and a flawless finish. The quality of the wood is very impressive, as it is very smooth and even. The board does not move or slide while you are using it. It comes in a very nice foamy box with 2 notices and can be easily offered as a gift. As recommended by the manufacturer, I opted for the brand “Walrus Oil” to nourish the board every two weeks. Surprisingly, it has now become waterproof 😲 I am perplexed by the comments regarding knife marks, as this is a chopping board 🤨. However, once you oil it, the marks disappear instantly 😀. I highly recommend this « made in America » product.
