Mice eat, mice die
Mice like to eat this and it kills mice. I tried other brands and the bait was eaten but the mice stayed around. With D-Con, bait and mice disappeared.

This works! Solid brand. Recommend.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this product simply because of the household name. I remember my Grandma using D-Con products. Am I happy I had to order this? Nope. We live in a new home. Just two years old. However, we live somewhat remote and surrounded by woods on one side and tall grass and fields on the other side. Prime place for these little field mice to come from. So I was sitting one morning reading my daily devotional and heard the dreaded noise. Anyone who has ever had a mouse in their crawlspace or anywhere in their house knows what I am talking about. I was down on my hands and knees ears pressed to the wall so irritated at what was happening. I ended up outside where much to my surprise I saw the little mouse, pop up out of a hole next to my house and sit there washing it's face. I wash going to kill it. Right! It ran back in the hole and back out just teasing me while I stood there annoyed. Well anyway, I ordered these and some outdoor bait boxes to put this stuff in. I sat one little trap up and then told my husband he could do the others. A couple of days passed and he and I went to complete the mission. There in front of the door into our crawl space near the little trap was a dead mouse!!! We put more traps out and some bait under the house. We don't cats (obviously) so we tossed the blocks under the house without using traps. Maybe that is discouraged but honestly nothing is getting in there but rodents and death to them. I opened the trap I had put out a couple of days before and all the bait was gone! In two days they'd eaten it all. I was trying not to freak out about that. How many mice were there? Or how much did one eat? Anyway, this morning the day after we placed the additional traps and bait I was sitting outside and saw another đ. Needless to say it was struggling. Pretty sure it had been in the bait. I will admit part of me was sad about what was happening to them but as I looked around at all the places they could be living as opposed to my house I pushed it out of my head. My husband came and scooped the sickly mouse up and tossed it away from our house. This is a long review for me to say I recommend this product. And to say that a brand that's been in business for years must be doing something right. I haven't heard the sounds of mice anymore and I am hoping not to anymore. This is worth a shot.

excellent product but way to small for rats or even mice
so I read the reviews especially one from a guy in Florida stating how he kept finding the bait intact so he got a camera and was able to see that they couldnât fit in it and are not able to get the bait out. So he sprinkled a few pelts nearby and the next day theyâre gone. So thatâs what I did. I did set the one traps but then put three whole pieces around it waited till the morning.. wouldnât you know in the morning the three pieces were gone and the bait was still intact inside the trap. I havenât heard so much of a peep in about two days so I think that might be it !! we moved into his house a little over 10 years ago and itâs just us three girls.. and we donât always think about these things. In the winter, we would sometimeshear something in one of the walls, but it would be over as soon as it happened, and there was never any evidence that we could see as far as poop. Then one day there is definitely more than one. They are starting to make a home in my garage and that was it they had to go.. they had chewed little holes everywhere through all the foam on the pipes and the wiring going outdoors in the garage.. they screwed up everything!! and pooped on everything!! I am afraid they would end up starting some kind of electrical fire knock on wood.! if one of them does, Iâll just give them some more treatsđ I tried all the humane methods first and itâs been going on for years.. honestly had no choice I would have left five dollars, except the trap was literally useless. Just unwrap a couple pellets and they will find them.

Worked in three days!
We live on a farm, so I am no stranger to mice. This time, however, the population bloomed. Not only was I seeing them in my feed shed, but I started hearing them in the walls of my home. I tried everything to get rid of them. I even keep nonvenomous snakes around the farm because they are excellent at controlling them. Not this time. The humane traps caught nothing. The easy-set traps did not go off when the mice were on them. The many types of repellents did not work. The old spring traps worked when I glued dog food coated with peanut butter on them. Peanut butter and bacon worked also. After a while, the mice stopped going to them. I bought my first set of these and purchased bait boxes ( B0B7517WJB) so I could put all of the bait out at one time. Bait sitting on the shelf is not "at work" and is a liability if they fall, spill, and a pet gets into it. Even though I have five adults out of seven children, I still do not have grandchildren to worry about as far as the bait goes. I put the bait in the boxes in the house and three buildings. Within three days, we did not hear or see any more evidence of mice. I have purchased a second set of these along with the bait boxes and put those out in the rest of our buildings. I plan to refill them every few months just to keep a check on the population. Mice do go for these baits, and they do die quickly.

1000% recommend if home pet and child free
Absolutely 1000% recommend! I had been battling the smartest mice on the planet for months, snap traps, electric traps, glue traps, bucket traps, noise plug ins, baby and dog pellets safe. Two exterminators said not an infestation, one said set some more traps and save some money. The second one quoted me over $9000 to resolve the issue. When our dog passed away, a week later I purchased Dcon and the same night I spread the wrapped packets around where we had been seeing mice. Nothing was eating from the boxes but all of the others were gone by morning! No sign of mice since! Now I am dealing with what is clearly a dead mouse smell!
