DysonTool, Mattress

This mattress attachment that is wider than the small upholstery attachment makes cleaning sofas and even floor much quicker. More importantly than me, my wife loves it, and I earned points for buying it for her.

It worked great.fit perfectly.

As soon as I received it, I tested it and found it is not working good and soon re-boxed it and returned.Dyson shows two different pictures, one has slits only on both left and right sides and the other one has slits in front.My one has slots only on sides which is different from what I expected.I could easily imagine in pictures of the one having slots only sides that mattress cover will be sucked and plug suchsmall slit on sides. From that point of view, slits on frond side would be better design I believe. Because side slits arereally plugged by sucked up mattress, it's hard to push or pull on mattress while vacuuming. It is really hard to use.It has lint remover and it makes even harder to drag on mattress while vacuuming and only by a few dragging on mattress,lint remover started to come off.This tool is about 8 inch width which is too smaller to vacuum even queen size bed, you can't use it for even single sidemattress. Clearly over pricing and bad design, moreover unclear advertising pictures.

This attachment works fine if you are vacuuming tightly stretched and secured fabrics. However, if the fabric is at all loose it will get sucked up into this attachment like most other attachments.So forget about cleaning your bed pad after you clean your mattress. It could use a crossbar or two to keep the materials from sucking into the tool and blocking the side slots. It works for what it is intended but nothing else. I guess my engineering expectations were raised by Dyson's marketing campaign.

Great mattress/upholstery tool. I use it all the time for our furniture and beds. It picks dust and dog hair up like a dream. Really happy with it.
