ACNEtane - All Natural Vitamin Supplement for Treating Acne, 90 Veggie Softgels (Treats Hormonal, Puberty, & Cystic Acne Internally)

I've had regular acne since elementary school, but when I hit my 20's I became more prone to hormonal cystic acne. I mostly get it around "that time of the month" and it's very embarassing and painful. For years I went to dermatologists and aestheticians for prescription creams, extractions, and antibiotics but nothing seemed to work well for me. It was expensive, painful, and I worried about harming my body with prescription pills. I've also tried practically every drug store treatment to no avail. I came across ACNEtane on Amazon and saw the great reviews but I didn't have much expectation for myself since nothing I've tried has helped much in the past. I've been taking one pill a day for a few weeks now and have already noticed less cystic bumps during my menstrual cycle. I'm going to try two a day to see if I can increase the results. If my acne journey sounds like yours, don't hesitate to try this product. I finally feel like I have a bit of hope for clear skin and it's all thanks to ACNEtane!

My skin wasn’t in the best condition so I wanted to improve it. I bought these pills thinking it would help clear up the acne I did have. After 2 days of taking these pill however my face was covered in acne and I looked horrible. I read that it’s supposed to worsen before getting better so I continued taking the pills. After one week my skin kept getting worse so I finally decided to stop taking them, and after one day of not taking the pills my skin cleared up. Maybe it works for other skin types, but it is absolutely terrible for me.

Love this version as they are veggie softgels. That said, they are extremely easy to swallow (unlike some super large tablets/pills) and have no after taste. As far as effectiveness, all I can say is just give it a try. There is something in this line up of ingredients in this acne supplement working together to oxidize acne pimple/sebum/puss (w.e it is causes the acne) starting from your GUT! Also, acnetane seems to help with oily skin, I think a few other reviewers have mentioned how their face is much less oily after starting acnetane. You can also try the larger version for ACNEtane if you prefer veggie capsules, good luck!

I did see some modest effects from this on my hormonal acne, but once I discontinued I got hit with acne 2x as bad as before and AWFUL headaches. YMMV, but this isn’t the answer for me.

The order arrived timely and was packaged well. Our acne battle started 3 years ago when my oldest son was 13 and began to break out. After trying several OTC remedies with no results, we decided to try prescription Accutane. After 2 months, his skin was clearing up, but his lips were so dry and cracked that they bled even though he constantly used lip balm. He also began to have eye pressure issues (which cleared up when we stopped using the Accutane after only 2 months.) That stuff was a scary disaster for us, although for some it is a miracle, so it just depends on the patient. We stopped the Accutane and started using a vitamin supplement called Acnetame. Both of my boys used it for over a year, but then it seemed to stop working and my boys always complained about how hard it was to swallow (the pills are huge). So now were are trying ACNEtane. Although large, the capsules are much smoother and easier for them to swallow. No complaints at all from them. My 13 and 16 year old sons are both taking this product now as directed (3x day with food). After one month, my 16 year old says he has noticeable improvement in his skin. My 13 year old has more cystic type acne and is still having breakouts, but we know it may take time to work, so we are sticking with it. I truly believe that acne needs to be treated internally as well as externally - and religiously - but also as gently as possible to avoid scarring. (Note: both boys use facial cleansing brushes in the shower to help clear blackheads and thoroughly clean the skin prior to toning AM and PM). So that is where we are for now. I will update my review in a few months, and I will try to convince them to let me take before and after pics. As someone who struggled with acne for years, I refuse to let my kids go through the same thing. It is a real self-esteem killer that only clear skin can prevent.

I decided to try this product since prescription topicals & antibiotics have never worked for the cystic acne break outs on my face. I was really surprised with the results after using this supplement about a week. I only used 1 capsule per day vs. the recommended daily dosage to make sure I had no adverse reaction. Even by only using 1 capsule, my face began to clear up. I have maintained a daily regiment of capsule per day & if I feel a flair up coming on, I will take up to 3 per day. Increasing the dosage seems to nip the situation in the bud & immediately prevents the break outs from worsening or becoming inflamed and painful. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is able to take this supplement.

I ordered these not realizing they contained Black Pepper Extract. I have an allergy to black pepper and thought I was safe with these as it didn’t list it in the ingredients. Upon some research on the bioprine fruit extract, I found out all bioprine extract comes form black pepper. I took them for a few days unknowingly and broke out in a bad rash on my upper neck. I do have to say they were easy to swallow the few I did take and the value did seem good for the money. They just didn’t work for me.

I've been suffering from acne since high-school, into my adulthood. Up until recently, I'd fell into depression and a constant state of hopelessness. I would take care of my skin SO MUCH (I would argue more than 99% of the population), but my face wouldn't show it, which is very disheartening. Anyway, ACNEtane has made feel normal again. Since I began taking it,I've gotten smaller pimples here and there, but no more big cysts. I increase and decrease my dosage based on how my face is looking, I think that the best way to approach it.
