Excellent Hydroponic Setup
Excellent complete set up for hydroponic deep water culture. This was my second grow. The first was in an AeroGarden and came out pretty good. I used the AeroGarden because I had it available and because I knew nothing at all about hydroponics or growing anything. I do not even have house plants and never have. Nonetheless, I decided to move on to a more dedicated set up. There are a lot of kits available on Amazon. This one was a bit more expensive because of shipping, but in my opinion was well worth it. All of the required tubing and cut outs were there. The aerator works perfectly with the included aeration blocks, the rock wool performs as needed with quick germination, and the result so far is a grow far superior to what I had before.

Easy
Works very well. I transplanted from a small hydro garden (it was about 10 in tall) and the plant did well. Now my plant is 4 ft. Tall. The pump is loud. I keep it in an unused bedroom in front of a window and witha hanging grow light.

Can't go wrong
If you think hydroponics is confusing, it's because you don't have this kit. Yes, it's more expensive than DIY but once you see the simplicity of this kit you'll know how to make it yourself just by looking at it and using it for a few weeks. Just get it.

It’s a leaker!
The grommet and water level hose leak. Unfortunately that makes this bucket unusable. Not only that, but the air pump puts off more noise than an eighteen wheeler barreling down the highway. This product is a waste of time, money, and energy. Do yourself a favor and pick a different product for your DWC home project.

The aerator stones get clogged.
This at first seamed to be a good product. I prefer the 3 gallon, easier to use, set up nicely and work fine for about 3 weeks, then noticed the leaves were yellowing and after investigating found that the aerator wasn't letting any air through. I know it was my own fault. I was hoping for a more set it and leave it type product.
