Will make a great finger wave
Wife review. I love Hotsticks! I used these back in the early 90's as well and the worked just as good. Although I used them back then for a much different style and have since discovered new and different ways to use them. I have learned that these nifty, little, hot stick make a beautiful finger wave style. Only takes 10 minutes too! My husband who is a hairdresser was even impressed. My hair actually looked professionally done and as if I sat for 3 plus hours to do it! I have sat many hours for traditional finger waves in my life time and using these hot suckers has given me the same concept in a MUCH shorter period of working time!

Long lasting curls, long lasting curlers
These curlers are easy and fast. Corkscrew curls galore. I bought my last set of hot sticks in 1988 as a teen. They died last year and I hope these last as well as the first. Definitely getting your money's worth. My relationship with Hot sticks is my longest ever!

Would not recommend
This is crap. Not enough rollers for your entire head, never heats up enough, so didn't give any curl. They are hard to roll, and they pop open. I got zero curl from these. Maybe if your hair is super fine it might curl your hair.

I am so glad I ordered these
I am so glad I ordered these. I have fine hair, and these work very well. They're easy to use and the curl lasts, even with my fine hair. I was excited to read in the instructions that you can order additional rollers of either size for a minimal price.

Curls decent but with design flaws
I have been using conair flexible rollers for about 25 years. They have changed alot and I wish they still made jelly rollers but those have been discontinued for quite a while and I can no longer find new sets anywhere online. So I decided to give these a try. The good: very compact, the curlers are easy to work with, and I got good curl to my hair. The bad: I have long hair and these don't want to come out! I had to fiddle with them for quite a while and I lost some hairs on each one. The top doesn't stay on (I would recommend returning to the attached lids that lift open as this lid is a pain). Only the center of the curler gets hot which is presumably so people won't burn themself but then results in only being able to put a little hair on each roller. I also anticipate there will be a day when these no longer want to stay looped as the curlers age with use. Finally $48 is ridiculous. Never have conair rollers cost me this much. And considering these took a step down in the quality of the old jelly rollers, its even more ridiculous. They do a decent job curling hair and so I will keep them and use them. However there are design flaws and I think conair can do better.

Buy them you will not regret it.
I have used Hot Stick hair rollers for years. I have very straight hair that doesn't hold curls very well. But my hair does great with the Hot Sticks. It's not a big bulky hair roller box so I can take then with me when I travel. The first set lasted about 7 years so I think it's worth the price.

it also seems to cool off in a rapid way
These have been a lifesaver in our family. I have thee girls dancing on stage, Performing in different dances each show case. Some hair needs to be flat and then magically I am supposed to be able to curl the hair into a very curly side ponytail for the next performance. I plug them in and right after they are hot I roll them into my girls hair. Voila... magic curls. The case is a light one and the curlers each have a space of their own. The electrical court wraps around the base for easier storage. It heats up even and quickly. And after you unplug it, it also seems to cool off in a rapid way. Which is nice, so you can store it away till next time. It works well for me, us.

Conair Hot Sticks Flexible Rollers
I have purchased many Conair products over the years and have been satisfied with their performance. This product, however, was a dud. Not all of the rollers heated up and those that did, failed to retain the heat in many cases, not long enough to complete the roll up. The rollers would not hold the hair without securing them with a scarf or roller net. I had dampened my hair just a bit with a tiny bit of mousse but the rollers cooled so quickly, that when I removed them, my hair was still a bit damp and only half curled. My mother had purchased a similar Conair product years ago which worked just fine and was the reason I decided to try these. What a disappointment!
