clearly clear white, brilliant white, beautiful. i've bought 3 now. only reason it's 4 stars, not 5, is that of the 3, there are variations in the brightness, or in the perception of brightness depending upon the location of rope and observer. ok, so it's quantum rope lights.i use them as near-ambient lighting in my basement studio, which only has windows on one side. i use them as notice to my brain that bedtime approaches - i turn off the other lights in the space, and they are perfect for 'dusk' at 1 am. when i go out, they're the only lights i leave on, and it's just the right light level to come home to.i'm buying another rope now that i've exposed the ceiling and have a place to put them. good stuff, worth the money.

Arrived quickly and packaged well. We plugged them in to test them and they are very bright, cool white lights. We didn't use them as part of our decorations this year so we can't comment on how good they look outside , but I'm sure they will be perfect for the job next year. Would definitely buy again from Orange Tree Trade.

Item was very very bright bluish, icicle white - almost harsh. Good for outside Christmas lighting - but doesn't match any indoor light coloring. Definitely not mood lighting. Had to return and get the soft white color - hopefully that works out better.

Well, the rope lights I purchased (from the same company) Feb. 2012 stopped working, so I purchased & replaced them in kind. Great patio lights for our RV Coach, a nice ice blue white color which is bright enough to set out and visit under and yet doesn't bother the neighbors.

I ordered 2 of the 18' ropes and one of them is almost completely burned out except for 5 lights. I'm 5 month's out of Orange Tree Trade's return and am out of luck. They sell junk and should be willing to replace LED lights that are supposed to work for years at least for over 2 years. These lights were only on an average of 1 hour/day so there is really no reason for this failure.

Purchased to put behind some antique bottles I've been collecting for years, for highlight. At night it is stunning, so they're exactly what I wanted/needed. Excellent transaction, speedy shipping. Appreciated!!

Simply incredible lights. I've used many different outdoor lights and have always been disappointed in their longevity, brightness or quality and these lights are the best I've purchased.

The color and intensity of the LED's is perfect !!! I did considerable research before I made this purchase. I will probably buy more !!
