script accurate K.I.T.T
So you want a kitt diecast? this is without question the single best one I have seen in a long time. I have the ertl kitt from 04 05 and it was a good quality diecast I still have it and now I can compare them side by side so here goes. The hot wheels elite is what I would term script accurate there's a turbine engine and turbo boosters under the rear axle the t tops don't just pop out they pivot as did the car in the Tv show the car also has the pop up lights but the interior is incredible in detail right down to the PMD badges stuck into the middle of the front seats. Under the hood in addition to the turbine is kitt's alpha circuit. When you look inside you can almost hear bill Daniels talk. Now on to the ertl version the ertl is what I would call set accurate correct if you walked onto the set of knight rider Tv set. Under the hood is the GM 5.0 305 V8 with all its early 80s emissions control equipment and a conventional 4 speed auto the car ertl used is a trans-am model with a different nose the scanner offers two options a continious on or a 30 second on the elite has a 20 second only the interior on the ertl lacks some of the defination the elite has to sum up both are good quality but the issue is avalibility the ertl is problematic since its out of production right now the elite is the best one around currently

A great KITT you don't have to build
Bring the 80's back to life by having K.I.T.T shipped to your house. A beautiful recreation of an 80's classic. Does everything but talk, and knowing Kitt that's may not be a bad thing,

Worst purchase ever
Not even close to worth the money! The only good thing is the metal body. Everything else is cheaply built . Unless you are just going to set it on a shelf and NEVER touch it, don't waste your money on this flimsy piece of junk.

If it was $20, maybe I could tolerate this junk...
For a while, this had been the holy grail of the KITT models. I finally decided to pop for the $100 and get this car to go along with my other KITT models. What a piece of junk. Mine showed up with the rear window cracked all the way through. Its not even plexiglass, its a really flimsy, soft piece of plastic, literally akin to a Slurpee lid. Unbelievable. The headlights dont open all the way, only about 1/3rd of the way. The T Tops do not fit properly so they dont sit flat and flash, but rather stick up a few millimeters. There are small chips all over the car where the paint is gone and bare metal shows through. Fortunately, the vendor I bought from had insured the delivery so I was able to get a refund (minus the shipping costs, wth?!) so at least I got most of my $$ back. But reading other reviews, it seems Im not the only one that got a dud. I cannot recommend anyone buy one of these things, it really disappointed me :(

K.I.T.T review
I'm a big fan of the original Knight Rider tv series. The detail is well done and the model is a good value for the price.

Knight Industries Two.Thousand
This model of Knight 2000 was well worth the price. This thing is accurate out the ass. When I first got it I thought the T-tops didn't fit. Then later I discovered they had to be popped in. This model surpasses every other model of KITT I've ever seen. Ertle was close to this quality but not quite

Great car!
This 1/18th scale original Knight Rider is greatly detailed, with the flashing light in the front, the dash board, to the turbo boost rockets underneath!
