Wire Was Swapped On A T Connector. Injured My Hand!
I tried to wire two batteries in parallel and the connector ended arcing and burning my hand when I plugged it in. After further investigating the problem I concluded that the T connector was made wrong and that the polarity was reversed on one of the connectors. So instead of connecting two positive and two negative leads in parallel I was actually wiring a dead short due to incorrectly placed wires made by the manufacturer.
