20-30 mmHg Compression Stockings for Men and Women, Knee High Length, Open Toe

I've tried at least 7 or 8 other compression socks that all had problems - they didn't fit properly, they didn't hold their compression, they weren't comfortable, etc. But with these compression stockings, I've found a real winner. The product itself is A+ - well made, sturdy, they keep their compression after daily wear, etc. There IS a bit of a learning curve in using them - 1. You have to pull them on uniformly (meaning you can't just grab one corner and try to pull them up). The top of the stocking should be pulled up on all sides uniformly. 2. For me, they were a little too long and bunched up under my knee where my leg bends, or they bunched up at my ankle. The solution? I cut off the foot part of the stocking. Wow - what a difference! Easy to put on, no loss in compression, and so comfortable to wear now that I rarely notice they're on. The pair I have now has lasted almost 3 months with no sign of breaking, falling apart or loss of compression. As a consumer, you need to do your own homework and research sometimes with a product. The first set or two I had some issues (mostly they'd break, but it was because of the way I was treating them), but I knew the product was GREAT and I wouldn't find a better compression stocking. So it was up for me to learn how to make them work for me. I did, and I'm very, very happy with these Truform stockings.

These are thick and tight with a reinforced heel just like my name brand. They stay up and my legs feel great at the end of the day with reduced swelling. I had veins removed a month ago and these work well to enhance my healing. Machine wash cold in a bag, hang dry works fine. I have long legs and had no trouble getting them to my knees.

These socks do a great job providing support and comfort, especially for my swollen legs, and I can feel the difference in circulation. The only downside is they’re a bit tough to take off when my legs are particularly swollen, requiring some extra effort. Still, they’re well-made and effective, making them a solid choice for daily wear.

I have owned many many pairs of these over the years as I have orthostatic hypotension. It gets really bad when it's hot so I get very dizzy and nauseous. My cardiologist recommended I try these instead of medication since the meds can be pretty dangerous and I am still very young... I had a pair of compression socks of another brand that were sheer and super duper uncomfortable. They dug into the area at the top of my foot and left giant marks on my feet. I did think the socks were helping but I knew I needed to try some other options. I got these and I absolutely love them. They are comfortable, a good price, fit well, and overall they've been very durable. They do not dig into the tops of my feet or crush my ankles like my old ones. I have pairs of all kinds- open toe, closed toe, knee high, and thigh high. I prefer the open toe for the most part since I am typically wearing them in the summer, but they can be a little bunchy if you are wearing sneakers. If you notice them slipping at all I recommend getting a product called it stays. A little roll on tube that keeps everything in place. I use them with my thigh highs and they do not budge an inch even if I wear them all day long. The beige can look pretty grandma and medical, but I really love that they finally started making white as they just look like normal knee high socks and can be a cute preppy look. Now I only wish they would make some colors and patterns!

My experience in trying to get compression stockings that I can actually WEAR has been extremely difficult, as it is for most people who have big legs. Every store in my local area didn't have big enough sizes for women, or with an open toe, even. I tried buying a man's size and I could have used them as thigh-highs except for the fact that the foot was about twice as long as mine. When I developed lymphedema and had to have physical therapy, the therapist ordered compression stockings from JuZo. You know, people that make compression stockings ought to have to wear them for awhile. Their top cuff was so tight and so narrow that it turned into a tourniquet. There were silicone dots on the inside of the ribbing, supposedly to keep them from rolling or sliding down. The first pair I tried was a JuZo Silver. I had to pay over $80 for them. When they started making my legs throb the therapist took them back and got me JuZo Soft, two sizes bigger. I asked her to get a pair that did not have the silicone dots because I thought they kept the band from stretching to some level of comfort. I never got any adjustment in price and the therapist told me she didn't think there was a price difference when I asked. Same problem with the JuZo Soft, the ribbing was horrible, not having silicone dots didn't make any difference. The therapist suggested I stretch the cuff part of the stockings around something when I was not wearing them and in trying that, the stitching between the cuff and the stocking broke and there were some loose loops. So now I can't even return them. I wanted stockings like I had been loaned to try out, they had a nice deep cuff and open toes and were comfortable. I was told "they don't make them anymore". Then I found these, loved how they fit but the foot was too long. Then I saw on the box where it could be ordered in "short" XL, so I found a vendor who had them and ordered. Except for the fact that they're a little tight across the foot, I'm a happy camper with the short XL and would've bought them in the first place, from this vendor, had this vendor offered them in short. Also found the version in the 'short' length was less tight across the foot. Thank you, TruForm for a decent fit and a decent price.

I got these to wear on a long flight.. They were perfect fit.. And they saved my legs in the flight.. I got the beige and they blended with my skin so I didn't look goofy..

UPDATE: So I received a new order of black with gold weave feet at a bargain price (4/10 U.S.) - and guess what - they work equally well, seem equal quality in terms of construction, are WAY prettier - AND THEY FIT (see the length comments, below.) I waited to see if I was doing something wrong when I put them on - then the same thing would happen. But no - these actually are 24" (both orders) and they're supposed to be 15" or so (and, I'm a big guy!) That sets up a pain / dangerous / impossible / difficult wearing situation. I returned the second pair I ordered - too late for the first. Also I highly recommend the closed toe ones - and get yourself a pair of real sandals instead of trying to wear flip-flops. I got a great closed toe sport-sandal from slohk for 20U.S.D. on closeout - really happy now! ORIGINAL: So I tore and ran one half the second time I put it on. I haven't damaged the other side after 10+ uses and just ordered another pair. Having a hole can produce a very painful bulge! It's WAAAAAY too long - ABOUT 24" FROM HEEL TO TOP when stretched enough to remove any creases (and you want to remove all the creases - or else!) So, it wants to go over the knee, and the only way to keep it from binding behind the knee is to fold it down again below the knee, which is less uncomfortable, but can become a health issue under daily use. If it only went UP TO the knee it would be way more comfortable and safer. May be unsafe to wear if you have any edema within 6" of the knee. In my case, I do not, and the folding is tolerable, but I would like a shorter pair. It's hard to put on right because it's open toes. I don't see how elderly or strength impaired (or normal?) people can either put them on OR take them off without help, or without promptly destroying them in the process!

I have chronic venous insufficiency and these are a must have in my wardrobe. I love that the toes are open and they do not roll down at the knee. The nylon is stretchy enough that if you’re having a very bloated leg day, they will still fit and do their job helping to remove the fluid off your legs.

Very good compression and comfortable socks.

Very good compression - wash well. Only downside is that the band at the toes is too restrictive for my one foot which has edema - the other leg that has the edema only on the lower leg fits perfect.

Using the size guide, found the correct size that fitted me, ordered and they came and fitted well. the quality is great as well
