Are the bristles super soft and flexible? Has anyone experienced a stinky smell when first use? Thanks. :)

The bristles are quite soft and flexible. A very different experience from a brush with rigid bristles (like brushes with synthetic and stiff bristles. I have not noticed any stinky smell at all. The bristles are natural fibers and have little scent at all. Also note this brush was made in China.

is it good for long hair ?

I have short hair and don't know for certain. but it's a very nice brush and my guess is that its soft bristles would work great on long hair.

how long and wide is the brush?

The length of the wooden handle is 9.25 inches and the width is 2.75 inches. The length of the bristle area is 4.5 inches and the width is 2.25 inches.
