Noxzema The Original Deep Cleansing Cream Travel Size 2 Oz (Pack of 3)

I haven’t used this since I was a kid. All the pricy products are either breaking out my skin or drying it out. This stuff, good old reliable, has gotten my face back into shape. Thank goodness they still make it.

Great for combo to oily skin. Extremely gentle on the skin, there's a reason Noxema has been around for decades!!

This is a pack of two and is fairly smaller than what I thought it would be. These are like travel sizes but the product is just as it normally is, nothing out the ordinary there. Would buy again especially as stocking stuffers or when I’m putting together self care kits for friends for Valentine’s Day.

For anyone who needs to calm your sunburn down - this is the key. I don't know how many people I've converted (it's a lot). I also dug into the history of Noxema and that's how they actually got started - as a sunburn remedy so it makes sense. Aloe doesn't dissipate the pain and throbbing of a sunburn and you'll just end up peeling. Noxema calms your skin down and afterwards, your sunburn turns into a beautiful golden brown without any peeling. TRUST ME. Slather this on (don't use it sparingly). When I have a bad burn, I slather more on every few hours and definitely sleep with it on. It does leave a residue and you'll have to change your sheets afterwards but it's worth it.

I cannot begin to tell you how young I was when my parents first used Noxzema on me to assist with a sunburn I had gotten. I am going to tell you I am in my 60's now. Washing with Noxzema was something that really made me feel my face was 'tingly' clean without drying me out or making me feel greasy. As a teenager one of my friends developed a horrible case of cystic acne. We were 'blue collar' kids. Dermatologists were for the kids of the 'rich'. The acne made him somewhat of a 'pariah'. At that time, people seemed to automatically write you off and considered you were not into good personal hygiene. He suffered terribly for at least a year and then started washing with Noxzema. It literally changed him back to the very young, handsome, (clean) teenager he had always been behind that mask he was forced to wear daily. For me, I admit to no longer being a constant user but when my hands get rough,sore,splitting from gardening, etc, Noxzema works to heal them virtually overnight. Still use it to get that special great feeling clean for my face when I have been out in the sun, dirt, dust and sweat. A few years back they made a quick cleansing 'wipe' and I loved them to carry with me for anytime/anywhere cleanse and refresh. They discontinued as not enough sales. I really miss those wipes. I think Noxzema is one of those things that either really works well for acne or not great. Depends on body chemistry and acne is no longer as simple as it once was. Simple as it may seem, like everything else out there that has become sort of 'super bugs' some acnes seem to have joined the club. Would still say it is a very good thing for everyone to at least try out. It is relatively inexpensive, smells, feels and cleans well generally and for acne you can be one of those that get great results. Love it.

LOVE these small containers for travel. I wash my face with Noxema twice a day - been doing this since I was in high school. I'm 80 now and people think I'm 40. Just kidding - they think I'm 70. As if anyone is good at judging age, what with Botox and cotton and all that. This is an old-fashioned product with GREAT results. The giant containers of Noxema are no good for travel, so I buy one of those for home, and use these 2 smaller ones for travel. Perfect.

I think this was very old stock, or poorly stored. But that having been said - it worked fine. I use it as chamois cream on long bike rides - as recommended by Chris Horner. The cream had seperated in the tin so I had to shake it to get it to re-coagulate.

Just use it once every two days. don't over do it. I used to use it since I was 14 - and I stopped when I was in my late 20s, not I'm almost 50 and I'm back to using them. cleans the face very very well. But, as I keep say it, consult your doctor before using any skin products.
