It's 0w30 weight for Rock Shox Pike forks.

Can I use a high quality 0w30 motor oil instead of buying this overpriced oil

I wouldn’t recommend it. The pike lowers only require a few cc of oil.. this bottle will last you at least 4 lower leg services... That said, you might get away with a true synthetic motor oil for a little while but if it’s base stock is a blend at all you may end up with shorter seal life. It will probably feel like garbage in comparison. Why risk damaging a $1k fork to save 3 dollars..
