I helped friends who bought three of these for a new home and couldn’t make them work consistently.The LED drivers run very hot and I wonder how long they will last.None of us think the mist effect is nice enough.The logs broke during removal of the log assembly.Worst problem: there are two halves of the unit, and one side controls refilling the two reservoirs. But both sides have sensors and can put the fireplace into an error state. We haven’t been able to get both sides to maintain an even water level, so the fireplace runs for a little while and then goes into an error state. This is really bad and manes the product unusable.The instructions in the manual for pairing the remote control were also wrong.These problems are true for all three of the fireplaces we have here. So the problems are not random or uncommon.I don’t recommend this product to anyone.

Incredibly realistic. Looks a lot better than any electric fireplace I have seen, because it's actual water vapor rising up, you can run your hand over the "fire."This thing is a huge hit with all of our guests. And it's been running for about 2 years without any problems whatsoever. Hoping it lasts ten more without issues.I've also got the complimentary heater installed right above it which is pretty neat, it's only $100 more I believe, and adds actual heat.

The technology is awesome, but we have had nothing but problems trying to resolve issues with operation. Dimplex sends out parts, but can't fix the issue. We have $3500 invested and can't get it functioning. Would be 5 stars if you can get it to work.

Very attractive, but stopped working in 1/2 of the unit after 1 to 2 uses and still no replacement part and technician after two months. Too much risk of malfunction with this product. When you pay this much for an electric fireplace, it shouldn’t be like rolling the dice!

My kids and plants love this! And it’s a statement piece in our house. We use it daily.

This salesperson is horrible. The delivered late and missed many things which I had to buy separately. I have email the seller but he never even bothered to reply. The product is good if you buy it from other sources but DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER
