Works great with Joyo wireless mic transmitters for karaoke. Hole allows the wireless xmitters to pass through. This works great for our karaoke at home. Heavy duty too.

Straight forward product, works. The only problem is that the metal is not as strong and the thread may wear with repeated removal from stand. Recommendation: don't tighten it too much, once installed leave it there.

Better than "Just a Mic Clip"
Our performing group put on a show. We had seven head mics and two hand-mics. The hand mics were initially attached to stands, with a mic-clip. I watched in disappointment as people repeatedly had difficulty separating the mics to walk out on-stage. I found this device and bought it with the hope that mic-use would be more enjoyable. It was just so easy to lift the mic out of the hole and, when the act was over, to put it back. Perfect! While I wish it was less-expensive, it's strength guarantees a lifetime of good service.

Holds Shure mics
Very well made and holds the church mics very securely. Screws onto a mic stand. High quality and easy to set up. Highly recommended. Keep those mics off the floor!

Buyer beware. Cheap pot metal. Not meant for removing
Once again I made the mistake of buying a Gator product even though I had one of their mic stands and speaker stands fall apart on me in less than a year. What I have found is that Gator’s products are really for a studio where you set them up one time, apologize to it for using any of their movable parts, then slowly back away from it. If you need it for practical everyday use, forget it lasting you for more than a month or two.This mic holder is no different. The metal is cheap and soft. The threads gave out after only 3 uses and just crumbled into dust. I ended up using JB Weld to secure it to the mic stand but cannot tear it down to fit into a gear bag anymore.Done with Gator.
