The best appetizer and snack you never knew existed
This is a concentrated and salty (really salty) olive paste that I grew up with. I have used it in concoctions such as real feta cheese/olive paste/strawberry jam on a slice of fresh bread, but these days, I am simply enjoying it with rice cakes or toasted gluten free bread and PG tips tea. The quality has never diminished over decades. It lasts for a very long time after being opened if stored in the fridge and is great for people on salty diets (my blood pressure is normally very low). It can be used on crackers with jam or jelly and cheeses for balance: great canape material and cheaper than caviar. If you like real, oil-cured Greek and Turkish olives, this product of Turkey is an incredible substitute that is much more versatile. There is also a spiced (not spicy) version but I like the pure paste.

Great Olive Paste but (see note at the bottom)
A staple of breakfast in our household growing up in Turkey. I have always yearn for it on a slice of toast. I always enjoy adding a tablespoon full of olive oil on the bread then spread the olive paste. Place a few slices of any type of breakfast meat (if desired) followed by a slice of feta cheese then a thick slice of tomato and enjoy! Note: Check to see if there is a local Turkish/Iranian/Middle Eastern/International markets in your town that carry this in its stock. There often is one in most any metro city in the US and the cost will likely to be 2-3 times cheaper than the prices online.

You have to use this very sparingly It's hard to find olive paste, so I am happy to have found it

Best Black Olive Paste Ever
This is the best olive paste ever from Turkey. It came perfectly and tightly wrapped from Amazon. It made my day on arrival and continues to add pleasure every time I enjoy it with friends on crackers.

Good olive paste
For anyone who isn't familiar with Turkish groceries, this is the highest quality olive paste made in Turkey. The jars arrived intact, they are good sized and the expiry date is not for another couple of years. Pricey, yes, but there's no Turkish grocery store near where I live, so I'm happy to be able to get this despite the cost.
