Great overall, not quite Hue
I've got Philips Hue light bulbs in most of the lamps and fixtures in the house. I wanted to add some LED strips but just couldn't get over the insane price tag. Overall, I'm very satisfied with these Eria strips as a cheaper option. They hooked up to the Hue bridge very easily and the colors are actually really close! I like creating a scene where all the lights are slightly different complementary colors so these strips worked perfectly for that. There is one small thing that these strips do that the Hue bulbs do not: When Hue bulbs change to a different color, it's a very smooth transition. These strips have a super fast pivot to white before they can switch to the new color. It's pretty noticeable because it creates a very brief flashing effect.I'll be honest that I actually have no idea if Hue LED strips flash vs. have. smooth transition, but I have to guess that their bulbs and their strips are consistent. I probably saved $200-$300 by going with Eria instead of Hue and sometimes that seems like a great deal, and sometimes I wish all the lights matched exactly because I'm a little OCD like that. But I'm way past the point of ripping all these strips out and replacing them, so I'm going to learn to live with the small shortcomings and be glad for extra cash in my pocket. Hopefully this review helps my fellow OCD folks out there decide which way to lean!

The straight answer for why these are cheaper...
I've owned these lights for almost two years now, and many aspects of them have performed just as well as Hue. The Zigbee pairing works totally fine, the color spectrum is great, the output is great. However, these lights have a major design flaw that limits their performance when chaining. The 24v driver (power supply) is underpowered as it only outputs 1amp.This box contains 5 light strips, and each 2 foot strip consumes just under 5 watts. If we do the math using Watts=Amps*Volts, (10ft of strips uses 24watts) / 24v = 1amp required to run the 5 strips contained in this box. One of the selling points of this system is that you can buy two boxes, and mix and match parts to build out an interesting lighting system. However, when you add literally any more lights to the chain than the 10ft contained in this box you begin to exceed the 1amp the driver is capable of outputting. This defeats the whole point of buying multiple boxes to mix and match. Will it work? Yes, kind of, your AC adapters will run hotter than they should, and when the electronics eventually wear to the point they are less efficient at doing their jobs you will start to experience all of the glitches that some reviewers are complaining about. It is not that lights are inferior, but that the main power supply is cheap. They should have just used a 2amp driver, and the whole product would be awesome.Tl;dr DO NOT CONNECT MORE THAN 10FT OF THESE TOGETHER!

Excellent customer service
I bought these lights a few months back and was having issues with getting them to work. Originally I was trying to use my roommate's control center so I thought the lights weren't working because of that.I think there was a miscommunication in my email back with Eria because I was trying to communicate that the light strips weren't working and asked for a replacement, but next thing I know Eria sent me one of their control center products instead of replacement light strips.By the time I received the product, my roommate was moving out so I needed a control center anyway. I went to set it up and still, the lights weren't working. I went back to my email to communicate an update with them. With one simple email back, the person I was talking to on customer service discovered I had plugged in the lights backwards on the strip itself (make sure the arrows are aligned!).Anyway, now I had both the strips and the control center but because they had sent me the control center on accident they said I could just keep it! I'm so happy with the lights and they're making the desk setup I've got in my room much more enjoyable. Huge thanks to Eria for the good experience!

These work nicely with the Hue ecosystem, one set went bad, kept flashing
These work well with the Hue App, and they work with the "Hue Disco" App as well.Sometimes they seem to set their brightness to near zero on their own- you might think they aren't repsonding but somehow if I say Alex Light Strip 100% it will be full brightness. We have 5 of these strips- One just stopped working and did a slow "breathing" fade on and off - it was the wifi module. It happened within one year of buying them.

Good LED light....BUT.....
Pros: Light strip alone, 5 stars. Zigbee compatible and integrated with my Hue Hub, zero issues. Just what I wantedCons: 3M adhesive tape selected for this product is poor at best. 3M has a lot of options, the wrong product was clearly selected. For my use I needed a L-shaped connector in order to make a right angle turn on the back side of a tv. I called the manufacturer's number (Adurosmart) for advice and was told any 5 PIN connector will work. Not even close (see the images - white connector). The strip is manufactured with a plastic form at the end which cannot be connected to "any" 5 pin connector. Called again for recommendations. Someone said they'd call me back after talking to a tech. Never got a call back. Wasn't looking for an endorsement, just advise. I found a connector on amazon which works, trial and error (see the black connector in my images). All said, now everything works great, if only the adhesive would hold now.

Be cautious with custom installations
Update: their customer service was very good and they supplied me for free some hardware that helped me with my installation. Just be aware that these lights are NOT compatible with HUE extension and connector hardware so there are not a lot of recourses for custom installs.Pretty good until you come to find out that despite being “compatible” with Philips Hue these lights operate off of a 5 pin system whereas Philips uses 6. This makes all the splitters, extensions and everything else that you purchased for your project useless, makes your project run over time and potentially over budget and now has me puzzled where to get the accessories I need to complete said project because they don’t seem to be available from this manufacturer in the first place.
