Weather Stripping Door Seal Strip,Door Strip Bottom for Doors Silicone Sealing Sticker Adhesive for Doors and Windows Gaps of Anti-Collision Silicone 5M/16FT (25MM, Transparent)

I live in an apartment where the door and doorframe going out to my porch doesn’t quite seal, and I was getting lots of bugs and dirt coming in from the outside. This was super easy to cut and install, blocks the gaps around the doorframe, and has held up great in TX weather for about 2 years now! Works great!

I've bought a couple rolls of this weather stripping, and it always works well - sticks tightly and is VERY compliant to close the gap. I've had trouble keeping it straight when attaching (not a problem with the product, it's all me!), so this time drew a faint line down the door frame to follow, and that worked pretty well. It says 3M on it but I've been a bit suspicious as to authenticity - maybe it is, maybe it isn't. The roll I bought a couple years ago left residue from the backside of the tear-off strip so looked a little unsightly. This roll did not have that issue - worked perfectly and looks good.

After installing a pet door in my sliding glass patio door, I ended up with a little more than a 1/2 inch open gap between the inner and outer doors. This weather stripping seemed to be the perfect solution to prevent the wind (and bugs) from blowing through the gap. It was easy to install and sticks well. I cleaned the surface first with alcohol wipes to ensure it would stick well. Note that it DOES leave behind a residue when removed. I found that out when I removed it to reposition it.

Unfortunately, I'm finding out that my new sliding door is a piece of crap. It doesn't slide well and it literally feels like there is a fan blowing cold air right in between the gap of the closed door. I bought this and applied it to the inside and outside of the door and it helped tremendously! It's been on for a whole cold winter and half of the summer now. It seems to be holding on strong. It's nice and translucent so you really can't see it. Hopefully it will continue to stick well and I won't have to re-apply.

I doubt the adhesive strip is really 3M as labeled. I cleaned my surface before applying but the weather stripping doesn’t appear to be staying stuck.

I have used this product for a couple of years and gave a roll to my daughter. It certainly does what it’s supposed to do.

I would give a zero if it were an option, I used this and it stuck for a couple of hours and fell down. Useless!

Followed the instructions, cleaned and applied tape, started peeling off a few hours later. Tried several times with the same result.

I've used these strips effectively on various projects. They stick well on glass and metal. Wood is a little trickier but using a hairdryer (before and after applying) helps loosen the glue and get them to stick. I've only had a 1" bit come off at the edge of a door that I secured with a small piece of tape and it's held up for months now. Important to note that you get between 2.5-3 meters not 5 (as has been my experience with various sellers)

received old piece, gum was not at all effective, after applying the tape, it dosent even stick properly, i dont recommend this to buy can i able to return this package ?
