ClosetMaid 2057 4-Foot Hanging Bar for SuperSlide Shelves, White

We ordered the big closet hooks to go on our white wired Rubbermaid shelf. These snapped on so easily and are very sturdy and this bar fit like a glove. I feel like the bad reviews are due to having the wrong sized hooks and equipment with it because ours work perfectly and I am actually ordering a second one this week!

Hung down in the basement for more hanging room. Works great and looks nice

Easy to install & does the job!

It’s fine, but why in the world would the end caps not be included?? You’ve gotta spend $8 more on the little plastic caps, just to keep your clothes from falling off the end or from the slightly sharp metal edges from being exposed.

If you're using the hooks to lower the rod a bit, make sure you get this one-piece rod. The wider part of the telescoping adjustable rod won't fit in the hooks. I got the solid 4-footer, fits perfectly.

I usually buy wire racks for our closets at Hone Depot, but I knew exactly what I needed to make the guest room’s closet much more useful when our little one arrived. It snapped right into the easy slide rod holders. If you have wire racks in your closets, adding the rods makes a 100% improvement over trying to hang clothes in the spaces of the racks. I can’t afford a custom built closet of my dreams, but I can certainly get great use out of simple wire racks. I also purchased the rod holders on Amazon. I would also recommend the plastic ends if it is not being used wall-to-wall (also purchased on Amazon).I’ve had the rod for a few months, and I have hangers with metal hooks, but I have not seen that they have scratched any of the white paint off. It slides beautifully.Amazon also shipped it in a very nice box to ensure it would not be bent or damaged in transit. I would absolutely purchase this product again.
