It’s an absolutely beautiful set. I bought it for my 12 year old son as we play against each other every evening. I couldn’t be happier with it. He’s so excited about it. Unfortunately he wants it in his room and we want it downstairs on display 🤣

If I could give 10 stars I would, the build quality of the pieces is EXCEPTIONAL the board is of the HIGHEST QUALITY if every Amazon seller was THIS GOOD our lives would be far less stressful. This really is a beautiful work of art! Beautiful detail on the board with a very nice finish. Pieces are solid and weighty. I personally don’t see the point in the storage space underneath are I don’t intend to ever put the pieces away! This chess set is on permanent display in our dinning room. Great price! You would pay a much much more for this quality in here in the UK! Package was sent by fed ex and received the product within 48hours! Amazing product and great service!

Was absolutely impressed when opening the box to see this set. The board itself is beautifully designed and solid, the pieces are heavy metal and very detailed. This set will be displayed in our living room when not being used to play because it is a gorgeous piece. The only thing I wish was that the storage area inside the board had a better way of storing the pieces rather than the flimsy plastic tray. The workmanship of both the board and chess pieces is extraordinary. We did have an issue with being charged what we believe was a customs fee upon delivery at our door in Canada. We did not know that we would be charged this at the point of delivery. After complaining to the manufacturer, we were quickly reimbursed the entire amount. Customer Service was definitely amazing. Would suggest that Amazon or the seller mention this on their Amazon site. Again, we cannot say enough about the quality and beauty of this set. It will be treasured in our home for many years. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a high quality chess set.

This chess set is very classy and provides a nice center piece when placed on a coffee table or any other display area in a room. They have a nice weight to them and feel like premium pieces when moving them around the board. The felt undersides make movement smooth and quiet on the lacquered wood. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. One caveat to mention that some other reviewers have pointed out: it seems this product does not always ship with the carry bag. This also happened to me. However, I reached out to the seller who was very courteous and professional. They sent the bag quickly, and I am very satisfied with the end result. Because of the product quality and my experience with the seller, I would recommend this set to anyone.
