I had previously purchased this EXACT LED light set from 2 other sellers(it must be made in the same factory because they are all identical) and the same problem kept happening....it would last for 6months or less with very little use and NOT even being submerged in water. We have a statuary fountain in our backyard and these lights sat around the perimeter and cast a nice color at night-WHEN THEY WORKED! The first problem was when a few of the LED bulbs just stopped working and the color was not as vivid, then entire blocks of color stopped followed by the unit no longer changing color and would just stay at one color followed by finally not working at all. I thought maybe it was a defect in the one unit I got so since the time expired for a return/exchange I took the plunge and purchased another hoping for a longer life....WRONG!!!! The second one lasted even shorter and the third one just under a month and 1/2. Best of all I never even received ANY type of response from this seller and since it is past 30days I cannot do a return via Amazon. So sad since it looked really nice at night but it doesn't last even though it it meant for a wet location-Buyer Beware!!!!!!!UPDATE as of 12/14/16-After a few pleasant emails with this seller I was promptly shipped another set of lights. I cannot attest to the longevity or functioning of ithe t since it is winter and the fountain is now closed for the season. I will try to update in the spring and see if these will last longer than 32 days🙂!

Had to return it, as the directions say for indoor use and if you are going to use outside, the transformer connection would need to be adapted for outside use. This should have been specified in item description, otherwise I would not have ordered it because it is for outside use.

These have been used in my yard pond for over a year and have done very well, there has been some LED’s that have failed over time but overall these have done a beautiful job.I do with there was a way to set the color scheme, but the ever changing color is very peaceful to enjoy.

Love these lights...especially because they all change the same color at the same time. I also like them because there is plenty of room inbetween each light so I could spread them out around my pond. I keep the plug raised under a fake rock for safety.UPDATE: not even 9 months later, and now they don't work at all...a few weeks ago, they stopped changing colors. I don't even have them in the water Changed from 5 stars to 2 because I really liked when they worked!

Reading the description was my missed step. I thought they were white bulbs that could change color. They change color on there own. Will make it odd in an outdoor pond.

Lights are great. I thought I could separate the strand to use in different places, but they are one continuous strand. They also have no on/off switch. You must unplug them.

Works great for my outside fountain.

They fill with water and stop working.
