LOVE this lanyard! It is quite strong, I have caught it a couple of times and it didn't break. It is long enough with the pull to unlock a door without bending over. If I need to I will purchase it again.

I like it and it's durable but it looks like there's something missing on the disk like an embellishment fell off. I'd prefer it to have a little less length but whatever. The retractable cord is still working great after six months of daily use.

Going on my second school year with this lanyard. I almost want to believe it's some sort of real silver. No type of rusting or discoloration. Casual and sleek look ontop of my business casual attire. The only downside are the cheap rings connecting the chain to the elastic key ring.

As a receptionist over executive suites, I wore this lanyard for about three months before the thin silver plating on the reel wore away and the coppery metal underneath started to show. The lanyard likely would have lasted far longer had I not used the keys innumerable times every day to unlock mailboxes, offices, drawers, safe boxes, etc. The necklace part of the lanyard was great but ultimately broke when I caught it on a doorknob while opening a heavy door. I planned to repair it but never got around to it before I left the job. I loved the construction and the length of the lanyard, which made it so I needed only to bend a smidge to stretch out the retractable part to unlock doors while keeping the lanyard on. I'm 5'11", so I'd imagine someone shorter wouldn't have to bend at all to reach it. The stretchy reel part seemed to be a few inches shorter as compared with other lanyard reels I've owned, which again, wouldn't have been a problem if I'd been a couple of inches shorter. Another consideration was that I had long hair that I wore down at the time, and I had to be very careful when removing the lanyard so that it didn't get caught in my hair, although I'm sure that still would have been an issue had I worn a different lanyard with a necklace chain. All this said, the design is very fashionable and professional, which I loved, and it looks like a pretty necklace rather than a junky lanyard, which was exactly what I was replacing at the time. It's also a unique design, and I loved that the thicker rope chain did stand up to wear. Overall, while I do wish the silvery plating were thicker and the reel longer, I am still happy with the price I paid, and I would have purchased additional lanyards had I stayed at the job. Know this going into it, and you'll be happy! For the price, it's a steal. If you unlock doors a zillion times a day, buy a few and plan to replace every few months or so, or consider buying a silver retractable reel to replace the current one once the silver plating wears off. The necklace part itself never wore thin, so I could have attached a new reel without noticing a difference. Despite its flaws, I definitely recommend this lanyard. :)

This lanyard looked great and seemed sturdy, but that all went out the window as soon as I tried to put it on. The clasp broke in my hands! I wasn't even yanking on it or anything, just normal wear and tear. Very disappointed with the quality. Don't waste your money!

Just what I was looking for. It looks nicer than a standard fabric lanyard and love that the end is retractable .

easy to use, i got one for my blind brother so he doesn't loose his house key and doesn't need to take it off to use it, works perfectly.
