Best training tool!
I use this for my very anxious and reactive dog. When he starts to get stressed I give him a few licks at a time and it keeps him calmer and he's learned to come to me instead of freaking out. He obviously loves the taste, and it's so much easier than carrying a ton of treats in a bag. The only issue I have with this flavor and the grass fed beef flavor, is that they are made with brown rice syrup, which gets sticky and gooey in the heat, so the dog gets more of it then he should. The other flavors are made with hydrogenated oils--not as healthy but don't get gooey and last longer. My dog seems to like the "run away frank" flavor best. Smells exactly like hot dogs.

Buyer beware, this could be a safety / health harming product to your pet.
My dog came after the "stick" as I was trying to open it, like she knew what it was. Licked it a couple of times and backed away. A couple of hours later we were training and I offered it to her again and she licked it a couple of times and she looked at me and wiggled her nose, like what was I giving her? I smelled it and it does not smell like chicken. It says it's made out of peas. It has a very strong, (not pleasant) odor. Now when I get the tube and act like I'm going to open it she runs away or hides. Not a very effective "treat". After she has licked on it I would not assume to return it, however the cost was for 4-5 licks, not a very good value for the money. I just hope that it will not hurt my dog. I was excited that being made without a ball, like the lick-stick, it would be safer for her. Not knowing what is in this product or where it is made has me very concerned.

Wants to bite it
The pup got tired of it after a while. Still works for simple training, but definitely can’t use it as a high value treat. She also would prefer to bite it instead of lick.

Totally worth it if you’re puppy training
This item was recommended at the puppy class by my puppy instructor. I was skeptical due to reviews, but this is amazing! Not only is it low calorie, my dog loves it. For a 3 month old puppy who is training and is heavily motivated by food, god sent! Packaging is great, easy to attach to the leash and the rope that it comes with is handy. Love it, pup loves it, smells decent.

Push-pop for dogs
Our dog loves this treat. I was skeptical at first, because I didn't know what to expect. This is basically a push-pop for dogs. In order to put out more of the treat, you twist the bottom of the tube like lip balm. The treat itself is the consistency of melted caramel. Its nice being able to give him a treat that he has to take his time to lick instead of quickly scarfing down without chewing. It is very helpful for training.I only gave four stars because it is a little messy. Since the dog licks out of the end of the tube, the sides of that end get grimy, and the cap then gets covered in the grime when you put it back on.

Great concept, but......
My dog just had a bunch of teeth extracted, which means no toys, treats or bones for at least 2 weeks so his stitches can heal. I bought this thinking it would be a great treat for him since he only has to lick and not bite or eat. I took the cap off, my dog came forward, smelled it and ran away. I'm with him....it smells awful for 'free range chicken.' There's nothing in the smell that remotely smells like chicken or the least bit appetizing. I'll probably donate it and will consider buying another flavor, but at over $12 a tube, I might just wait until his 2 week ban on treats are up and give him the treats he always ate before surgery. I wanted so much to like this product!!!

Worked for Mega Esophagus Dog
My foster dog has mega esophagus. She can’t eat without sitting upright in a special chair. I couldn’t give her treats for going potty or being good like a normal dog. So I bought this. She can just like the treat instead and does not have to swallow (which would cause her to vomit). She liked the flavor.

Broken and un-usable
The 'treat' came in 3 pieces and fell right out of the cap upon opening. Un-usable and discouraged. Won't buy again. Awaiting a response from the seller.

good idea. dog likes it but i wish it ...
good idea. dog likes it but i wish it was more like a loli pop.. the gelatin does not lick off easily, the dog rather bite at it to get little chunks, which defeats the purpose.

My dog wasn’t a fan of the flavour
Sadly, my dog didn’t like the flavour. It’s a very convenient format and is a very clean product to use. My pup has mega-esophagus, so we had high hopes for this. I’m sure if your dog likes the taste it would be a winner.

Both dogs refused to touch this and I think it smells very sweet.

Bien!
