Not only was I happy to have purchased this version, make and model, but my spouse actually started cleaning the pool! I was actually looking for a less expensive (flat type) of skimmer screen, because we never had a lot of leaves in our pool. My focus was on finding a sturdier pole, as our pool is 16 ft, and the typical 8-12 ft poles would usually break just as the summer was ending.This model had EVERYTHING Ibwas looking for and MORE! And way less expensive than the smaller versions at the pool supply store! Plus, the edge of the frame, is actually slightly bent on purpose! This feature eases picking up leaves laying on the floor of the pool, as all you need to do is slide it and then you just turn it over and pull it back, without the need to lift the long pole! Because the net being a bag, and with a continuous motion, it's like working vacuum, and is way easier than even vacuuming! We are very satisfied!

The Pool Skimmer is light and sturdy and once assembled is fully telescoping. The second pole is a little difficult to insert into the end of the first, but if you unscrew the connector and slide it over the pole first, then it's easier to thread the second pole into the gripping section of the first. One thing that might make it a little sturdier wold be to have an insert between the net and the pole it slides into in order to make it snug.

Works well. Net does good job picking up fine and large debris. Pole extension broke after 30 days. Remaining pole length adequate for 75% of pool.

Very nice quality at a good price. Works well and the adjustable pole is a plus.

I don't use this too often since we have a pool service twice a week and after 18 months the stitching at the bottom of the net is starting to fall apart (that is to say, it lets small leave pass thru the bottom on the net). I stitched it up but I wouldn't expect this to fall apart like this.

I actually ordered this by mistake as I already had one of this size and type.But I do like the compact handle made of 3 sections. It also has a bit of foaminstalled in the handle for buoyancy. Easier to store than the longer poles.

Shoddy workmanship. The net seems well made. And the poles seem good. It's when you try to onnect the two together . the pole does not connect into the head securely. the holes don't line up for the extra screw and the spring buttons are so loose that I'm sure once I put it in the water the net would come off so I'm returning this. I don't know how this thing got a 4 plus star rating. Just goes to show you can't go by the ratings
